Signature Images

And again, @Bruce , copy/paste does not work. My image is in my media, it is a cropped and sized image. I open it and copy, and go into signature and place the cursor where I want the image, and paste. It either does nothing or pastes the word, "full" in light blue. The only way I can get the image to load is to copy the link and put it in the img bar.

@txav8r, this is the method that you should be using

If you go to https://jetboaters.net/account/signature you can upload an image to your signature. After uploading your signature image you will need to type

into your signature where you want the image to appear. Hopefully this will be easier to use than the drag and drop or URL copying methods used previously.

Uploading signature images to the media gallery does not work due to permissions. You need to use the method in the post above.

If those instructions were listed in the link you gave me, I missed them. That is the first time I have seen the
[sigpic][/sigpic]. I am sure you think your being perfectly clear. I however am not getting ANY results from this method. First, upload my image where? And secondly, the image is in my media, so literally right click and copy image? When I try to paste that either between the sigpic sigpic or over it, I am not getting an image. This is definitely NOT easier, and it isn't self explanatory, even with your directions @Bruce .

You need to go to https://jetboaters.net/account/signature

This is what you will see



Then click the "Click to Upload" link below the signature editing window.

That will open this screen



Where you click "Choose File".

After uploading the file click "Save Changes"

You will be taken back to the signature editing window and you will see your signature picture below the edit window



Now type into your signature where you want the image to appear. Then click save changes and you are finished.

I think the problem might have been that he had an existing signature pic and the two might not play well together. So also be sure you delete any existing pic references (which will be between IMG references in brackets.

Yep, I deleted it prior. But I did not see, nor was it clear to me that there was a new "signature picture" tool at the bottom of that screen. I have been in there from the beginning and using the tools at the top of the page. I had literally, not seen the new material at the bottom of the screen. But thank you @Bruce , I got it. Those instructions would be great as a sticky all by themselves!

And I had deleted that photo...twice. That is not the signature photo I have been using, it is the first one I used.

@Julian , I read back up and see that you had added the picture. No, not the right one. I need to be able to do this. But the software isn't doing what Bruce thinks it is for me. See my screenshot. There isn't any signature photo upload at the bottom of that page!

I tried my test account and the "Click to Upload" link is there.

Also, I think you should remove one of your Bookmarks.
