It's not that bad.. Just have wished the tank was larger so I can avoid marina pricing when we take longer trips (50 - 70 miles one way) or when pulling tubes all day. The least amount I have burned in one day is 25 gallons and the most about 65 so far. That is cruising about 28mph ~5900 - 6000rpm / ~13gph. You would think that on a boat that burns 26-27gph WOT would have a larger tank than 50 gallons.
Agree! We can only surf for about 4 hours max with 3k+ ballast. Every fill up is 46 to 48 gal, And we always end the day early due to the small gas tank.
Calling @Julian...
- What are the dates for the 2017 dealer meeting?
- Are you or someone else from JB.net going again this year? Loved the coverage that you guys did last year!
There are no major updates to the 19 ft series other than colors for the most part. These boats are shipping in advance of the dealer meeting and reveal on the 28th which is a first.
Hopefully they carry the colored tower look through to some of the bigger boats, I really like it!

Made the switch on Saturday!! Traded in my 2015 AR210 for the 2017 242x E- series. Put about 4 hours on the motor yesterday. The boat is amazing and the sound system is great! Didn't use the ballast bags yet. Not to happy that there is no way to clean them out specially that I will be using them in salt water primarily..
