oof...big job, and looks like it came out great! This time last year redoing my downstairs floor. I was told I couldn’t use the boat until I finished the floor, amazing how fast one can work when there is incentive…

Thanks, it was a monster project. The floor the previous people put in should have been floating, but they glued all the tongue and groves together then glued it to the floor so I had to break each 12" long board up with a 5lb hammer and pry bar then chisel all the splintered parts up after. I rented the tile breaker for the floor as Home Depot said it would work just fine, and it wouldn't even get underneath the wood. I also did the 1/2 bath downstairs and replaced everything in there. Didn't turn out to bad for somebody who has never done this before.oof...big job, and looks like it came out great!
I heard these are fun cars to drive and the rotary engines were very good?Few weeks early, but I'll go ahead and share. Jan 1st 2010. Wife and I brought home the only car we ever agreed 100% on. '08 Mazda RX8. GT package with the 6spd manual. Such a wildly entertaining vehicle to drive.

We'll get another one one of these days. Hoping I can talk her into getting one when the (now 11) oldest is ready for a car. Let him have her Rogue, and she can get another Mazda. We'll see how that works out.
So, we have be careful with "very good".......Power to weight was excellent. Total HP and Torque numbers were down compared to competition. 230hp and like 141lb-ft or something like that. Silky smooth and dead flat torque curve from ~3k up to ~9k or so. The rotary caught a bad wrap because it doesn't handle poor maintenance or heat well. Overheat it and you'll kill it. Run too much timing and you'll kill it. Don't run it hard enough and it won't burn off carbon deposits on the seals and you'll kill it. It's NOT a car you throw the keys to your 16yr old daughter with and let her drive it without paying attention to it. They burn oil, on purpose, like a two stroke. Most people don't understand that, run them dry, then run them hot and kill them. Best mod I did was moving to LS1 (5.3 truck based) coil packs and a step colder plugs. Engine smoothed out even further and ran beautifully after that. Ran "pre-mix" for a few months and disabled the OMP, but didn't really see the benefit. Just kept the crankcase full and motored on.I heard these are fun cars to drive and the rotary engines were very good?
My father in law is a huge MotoGP fan. Since I have know him he has had a BMW K1200S, Triumph 1050 GT and now has a KTM 1290 Super Duke. I like the 80s and 90s livery on the older bikes.mid 80's to early 90's roadracing...

I had a 2003 GT model. It is the only car I've ever owned that handled so well that I could actually induce a back spasm taking a corner, and I've had an S2K. That being said, it does not do well for short trips. Start it up and shut it off and you'll flood it beyond hope.I heard these are fun cars to drive and the rotary engines were very good?
