Thanks, Mike ........... Now I gotta go buy a new Minn-Kota for the Skeeter ! That is SUPER KEWL !!!!!!!!!!! I guess my Power Drive V2 is now "old school" ........ LOL !
This is the Spanish Acrobatic Team Patrulla Aguila performing this exceptional landing formation. Very cool !
What you are about to see is very rare. EXTREMELY rare! Highly trained exhibition flight teams, like the Blue Angels and others, occasionally will do a formation *take off*, but formation *landings* much less so. In fact, I have never seen a video of a formation *landing* before, especially with so many aircraft! I have observed rarely TWO aircraft doing a formation landing, but never this many. The reason, I suppose, is that it's damned dangerous! A single wheel brake that decides to fail, a bad wheel bearing, any failure of the nose wheel steering, a piece of debris left on the runway that causes a tire blowout, and a long litany of other unpredictable events can cause one aircraft to stop more rapidly than planned, or fail to stop, or get pulled left or right in a heartbeat CAN cause any two aircraft to run into each other SO FAST even the best pilot would have trouble correcting in time! The whole scene can snowball into a disaster. You'll not see anything like this again soon.

In the US Air Force we do formation take offs and landings all the time, I did one of each today in fact. It is a non-event. We are limited to a flight of two for each of these maneuvers. The Thunderbirds have a waiver and will execute a four ship form takeoff for the diamond, but they takeoff next to each other then the slot pilot moves into the lower position after lifting off. They do this because if the lead jet aborted and the slot was behind him, they would hit each other.
All that being said, that formation landing in the video is one of the dumbest things I have seen in aviation. Is it cool to look at, sure. But if the lead aircraft blows a tire, has a brake or rudder failure, the likelihood of a collision is near 100%. I have witnessed British Tornadoes execute a diamond formation takeoff with the slot right behind the lead and it is equally as dumb. Again, cool to watch, absolutely. But way too high on the Risk vs Reward chart. And this is coming from a fighter pilot who manages high risk for a living...
You WON’T Believe What They Caught The Cashiers Doing At This Supermarket … Watch CLOSELY ! When you’re shopping at a grocery store, you always know when it’s the holiday season … festive decorations, music, and foods are everywhere ! But Edeka, a supermarket in Germany, decided that this wasn’t enough and they wanted to provide a special treat for their customers. Imagine you’re at the checkout counter and the cashier scans your item … And scans it again. And again, and again, and again. Wait … am I hearing what I think I’m hearing !? Enjoy ! The Roomba for Lawns Is Really Pissing Off Astronomers
WHO CAN HATE a Roomba? Astronomers, that’s who.
The robotic vacuums we all know and love ensure we don’t have to clean our own homes ourselves to get them spotless. (God forbid.) Now, the Roomba’s maker, iRobot, wants to do for lawn care what it did for vacuuming. According to filings with the FCC spotted by IEEE Spectrum, iRobot is designing a robotic mower—news that should elate lazy people the world over.
But one group is really, really unhappy about this boon to the slothful: Astronomers. Some of them are so upset, in fact, that their objections might put the kibosh on the whole thing. How could this be? In a scenario that sounds straight out of the Golden Age of scifi, it all comes down to robots versus telescopes, and how they all communicate.
The saga started in February, when iRobot filed a waiver request with the FCC seeking approval to use a portion of the radio spectrum to help guide its robomower ..........

I GOTTA buy 1 of these. More time to FISH ! LOL ........... Best Wishes, Mikey Lulejian
Ok, so I saw this on Facebook and though how funny is this? So I searched on you tube for a link to post here for what I thought would be the only video that fit the description. NOPE, there are a ton of them. So I present to you "Kids on a trampoline"
As far as I can tell it is...I was convinced it was a sped up video but if you look closely you can see a few background things like cars moving at what seems to be an actual pace. I can't begin to comprehend how that flight can be controlled that well
That is some insane flying if it is real. The comments on the youtube video are all over the place....but also point to the cars moving normal speed. Would have been easy to put a clock in the picture to prove it....or people etc....it just doesn't look big enough to have that kind of power for that length of time.....but amazing if it is for real!!!!!
After doing a little googling....pretty sure this is totally real....and check this one out....talk about ways to get UFO sightings now! This is from the same guy....
I believe that is what is commonly called a "warpquad". They are amazing.
Here is another type of insane quadcopter flying. These are small and fast 250mm sized quads with a first person camera on it that the operator flies while wearing a set of goggles. This video is from the guy who most people think is the best in the world, Charpu.
