Forum News! NEW Regional Forums underway!

Great Lakes would also be a HUGE region.....looking for smaller regions more useful to members. Perhaps we can make some large region groupings once we get the smaller ones identified.
South East Michigan

South Eastern Lower Michigan has A LOT of water inland as wells two great lakes and lake st. clair. That would be great.

Probably,

South Eastern Lower Michigan
South Western Lower Michigan
Northern Lower and Upper Penninsula Michigan

This would slice it up nicely.

Keep in mind we have Texas, Pacific NW. So Michigan would work....if it becomes to busy we can subdivide if we have that problem. Looking for the sweet spot between too HUGE - Great Lakes, and too small. I may also be able to make Sub-sub forums, but again, the real purpose for that is if the main forum has so much traffic that posts get buried too quickly.

As usual you are correct. Michigan would be a good starting point.

Mid-West-Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa & Illinois ?

Think we should just make a great lakes region instead of MI

Maybe a southern CA/AZ/southern Nevada. I know it’s large but there aren’t a whole lot of lakes in the desert. We tend to all use the southern Colorado river, Lake Mead, Lake Havasu, Big Bear Lake, Lake Mojave, Lake Elsinore and Lake Perris. I’m sure the ocean guys will chime in what harbors they use.

Just a thought @Julian but instead of regions you could do a state chapter forum with sub-forums as needed in each state.

I'm shooting for States, or very small groups of States as some are either pretty small, or have fewer members.
