Looks like the first boat in the video is a 19 footer. They look like they widened the interior, different seats, different helm and flipped the rear boarding later. Can't tell anything else but looks like the hull shape is very similar so this may just be a full interior update.
Nice screen grab. The throttle/drive area looks different in color and how it is constructed at least at first glance, again tough to tell.I don't see the interior being any wider on the 19'. Seat profile looks a hair different but hard to tell because of the redesigned upholstery styling. The arm cushion behind the drivers seat is definitely different shape and looks all black there now. The window frame appears to be silver/gray instead of black but not sure if that's a 190 or 195 and if the color changes based off model. The helm looks different for sure and the "brow" over the gauges is gone. Hard to tell but the helm looks more rectangular which is inline with other Yamaha helms that included.....Connext. Hmm

Agreed. It does get slick there for sure druing any water activities. I've always been surprised that Jet Boat Pilot didn't have a seadek template for those areas on the rear yet have ones for the bow and just in front of the windshield. I like the cup holders on the bottom platform for ease of use from the water, but you do loose a bit more platform there. Subtle changes on a lot of items so far. Will be interesting to see how the interior shakes out and how the seats are set up.I like that the corner of the upper deck has seadek. My son has slipped a few times jumping off right there on our 2018.
Your boat should already have SeaDek on the upper swim deck corners. What they did for 2019 was add a little more material. Never been a slip issue for us but having more material doesn't hurt.I like that the corner of the upper deck has seadek. My son has slipped a few times jumping off right there on our 2018. The outer edge is also much wider which will also help with jumping off.
I guess I got a "fair" deal. But I bet the deals will be better now that they need to clear out the old stock. Especially since it seems there are some significant changes beyond just colours. If it's just an interior change then that would come down to taste. Hope you got a good deal buying so cloese to the 19s coming out
What?? It is 74k today....????The ‘19 242x is just under 80k with the price increase. A 27 with twin supercharged engines would easily top $100k. A lot fewer buyers at that price point. Not saying it won’t happen, but companies market to their tried and true base.
No way!! What's so new and exciting to justify that? Glad I got my 2018 AR240 when I did. Do these new prices have something to do with trade war tariffs maybe?? It's too much of a jump in price. Normally like $500, but not 5K for essentially the same boat...wow!!What?? It is 74k today....????
