Replacing the factory bilge pump in my 2016 AR192. The one I bought (Rule 1100 GPH Automatic Bilge Pump) is too big to fit in the bilge drain hole.

Is it OK to mount it to the engine compartment floor adjacent to where the hole is? I don't see why not but wanted to check if I was missing something huge.

You’re probably going to have to change out the thru hull fitting to either a 1” or 1&1/4” and the hose as the 1100 gph pumps have a larger outlet than the oem 500 gph.

Im with @Julian, you should expand the oem hole in the liner so the pump will sit lower and keep the water level in the bilge lower.

Another alternative if you are looking for more bilge pump capacity is to just leave the current one alone and add a 2nd pump, hose and outlet. This is what I did. It is number 35 in my list of mods to my boat. This gives me good offshore capacity and redundancy.
