I recently updated both the charging system and the sound system on my SX230. Now I'm undergoing two large projects at once, the traction mats and upholstery. After two long hard days I was able to remove the old traction mat. Part of the current gray blue and white upholstery I did myself with some success. This go around I found someone and I'm glad I did. I only have the before and during shots. I'm waiting for the upholstery to be delivered can't wait to post the after shots. Any suggestions on cool things I can add to this build? I just ordered the Gator Keel guard.20190907_090106.jpg20190907_094752.jpg.20190801_182055.jpg20190801_182115.jpg20190801_182145.jpg

Wow....looks really nice! I assume you boat in northern climes....I fear in NC those seats would get too hot to sit on.....

No, I'm in south Florida. I really wanted that color scheme so its something that I'm going to have to get use to. Lots of white towels.

Gorgeous!

The guy from the Scarab forum swears that the brown fabric they use doesnt get hot....but it's a special type of material....is this what you used?

I can't imagine it is but I'll find out soon enough. It should be installed this week.

those seats look gorgeous

looks great, upholstery is next on my list,
where are you at? update your profile with your location so it will show,

if you don't mind me asking what was the ball park cost for the upholstery?
any tips for the removal of the seat backs?

.

That's a LOT of brown/tan for the interior. I can't wait to see the final assembly.

Seats are beautiful. Congrats.

I have a 1995 chaparral 1930sst which still runs great but the upholstery needs to be replaced. Who did you use to do yours?

I'm in the Miami area. The price was under $3K the double stitching and the diamond made the price go up couple hundred. The seats have threaded rods attacked to the back of them. You have to access the back of the fiber glass panel where I believe 10 mm nuts hold it in place.

I used some local guy in Miami, Fl. I'll ask him if it's okay for me to post is info.

Subscribed looks great so far . Keep the pics coming

Gorgeous color scheme. That's gonna look great with the gator floor. True classy

I know this is super old now, but I stumbled across this. VERY nice look, I like the brown/mocha/whatevertheycallit color scheme. I noticed the panels on the dash, and was wondering if you left those gray, or if you color-matched those to the rest of the interior as well.

I like the old flooring as well, but from the looks of it, its time was up lol Do you have any more pics of the whole shebang all installed, and perhaps an overal pic of the boat?
