We picked him up at 7 months old and he's now 9-1/2 months (born 1/1/19). Suspect this was his first time in the water. LOL he didn't know what to do. He followed the other and then started having fun. Honestly, I think he had the most fun; didn't want to leave.
Sink or swim? Do not know if he can (yet). With all that fur, my God he has a lot, I would think it would hold him back. We need to find out. Living on a canal, should he fall in he'll need to know; for sure. We've had Boxers for 25 years. They can swim. Bernese (we named him Phineus) ...we'll find out soon enough.
How old are yours? What are their names? Do you take them out on the boat? Do they need a lot of attention?
Was a blast today. Took a half day and spent it with a good buddy of mine. Was both of ours first time wake surfing. Needs some more tweaking of the wave and us finding the sweet spot as well.
We took the dinghy over to Splash two evenings ago for dinner. Great day for a dinghy ride around the Burlington waterfront. Always amazed how the wind and wave conditions can calm down at sunset.
Yesterday Dad and I traveled 52.8 miles on Smith Lake. That's roughly the same distance as traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini.....and we didn't even cover half of the lake!
I suppose you know that is illegal in every state because it is really dangerous for the person in the water? I hope you were on a vacant private lake.
