@suke She looks like another one succumbing to the surf disease. May as well not fight it and open your wallet. Start with the Wake Wedge for your boat. Then buy 2 tubing ropes and braid them together to make a surf rope. (You don't want to keep surfing a rope with a handle) Next time out run the rope though the port side of the tower so the pull point is off center. It will help her get up and settle in the wave. Keep sending pictures of your happy family.
I thought about the rope thing, but I really like the way this one feels. Guess I need to find some purpose built ropes someone has and see how they feel before I buy any of them. I totally forgot about running the rope around that side. Little sketched out by that as I don't want to mess up my bimini. It's brand new and was a nightmare to get this summer. Next weekend the highs are in the 70's so we MAY get another weekend out in the water. Boat will spend plenty of time in the water just we may not after this weekend. We spent the whole day today and didn't want to come home knowing cooler weather is in the outlook. So we just drove around for a while, before finally heading in.
Great shot! Spent many, many days/summers there on the boat. Great hangout spot. Current runs strong thru there!
There used to be a Holiday Inn by the bridge with an outdoor tiki-hut and a huge built in pool and spa; now it's gone. Good ole'days...
Enjoy!!!
I really need to make a trip to Broken Bow. I am just a couple of hours away, but I am just unfamiliar with the area. You spot looks awesome right there! (If you could message me a couple of google pin spots like this, that may need the motivation I need to head that way.) Any must dos and don'ts out there? and any recs on where to stay if I wanted to do a whole weekend?
