I'd think that if it was for "general" floating debris pick up the intake funnel arms would be 5 or 10x wider ??

Makes me cold just looking at it!!! LOL I'll be in Pittsburgh the week of Dec 9th....please arrange for a heat wave that week as my "winter" coat is not really going to cut it for an up north winter!!!
Quit with the heat wave talk, ski season starts Saturday.

Bounced over to Paris for the week. For some reason I’ve never really had an urge to go to Paris, even though I’ve lived in Europe for several years combined, my son really wanted to see the Eiffel Tower so we came up here for the week....I’ve really enjoyed seeing the sites, the Louvre blows my mind on how massive it is!21F0158B-0767-46D6-BA65-24F5BC3C436A.jpegD52E6039-0C81-44E5-9FFB-09016DE3163A.jpeg21F0158B-0767-46D6-BA65-24F5BC3C436A.jpegD52E6039-0C81-44E5-9FFB-09016DE3163A.jpeg

Had to share this with the group. This is a buddy of mine who races offshore powerboats. This was this weekend in Florida at the OPA world finals. Sunday was choppy!

My cabinet business took us up the canyon past Jordanelle Reservoir today to a client/friends cabin. Snow storm was nipping at our heels...

Jordanelle is a beautiful little reservoir just east of Park City. To busy for us to care to boat on most of the time. Nobody's boating today though... ❄❄

Ski resorts on the back side of the peaks to the left should finally get some good snow in the slopes this week.

Hope it works out for their customers.

A few years ago they bought the marina where we dock our houseboat. Some things have improved. Other promised changes have not materialized. Definitely still room for improvement.

At this point we only overwinter there, our 3-season slip is just to the North at the new Burlington Harbor Marina. One of the first things the new Shelburne Shipyard owners should do is upgrade the docks, they are very old.

This is needed at our marina as well, and they have replaced 4 rows of slips to date (3 of them were due to severe weather damage). In all cases they were rebuilt bigger and better... also with an accordingly bigger rental fee. When they replaced the row adjacent to ours last year they converted all slips to covered slips. I don't think any of the original tenants on that row returned to it due to the large price increase (close to $2k I think).

White Pelicans...strange for this pond. Many cars stopped to take a peek over the last week or so.

Those guys have migrated from the Mid-West and Canada!! I am always amazed how far some of these birds fly to migrate.

We are updating our kitchen. Waiting on the appliances to get delivered but last night went ahead and tackled the kitchen sink. Out with the old brass and white. In with the stainless! :)

Excuse the mess of chemicals all over the place lol. Had to remove it from under the sink while I worked. Absolutely love he single large basin as we never used the two basins for Selzer are duties.
