The most nerve wracking thing I've done...

Looks good. Glad you didnt take the sticker off, you could get sued!

Honestly it was just laziness. I didn't feel like trying to peel it off then trying to remove the gummy mess it leaves behind. ?‍♂️

Goo-Gone is your friend. I've removed all the warning stickers on my boat as they're only there to protect the manufacturer. A heat gun or blow dryer works to soften the glue and peel them off. Then rub a little Goo-Gone with clean rags. Wash the surface and apply wax. Go boating.
:)

wd40 0r waterless hand cleaner non pumice type also works easily

The first hole is the hardest.... LOL
It is...my boat was new in 2020 and I didn't want to drill speaker holes for the mid-cabin upgrade. I was sweating hard that day, even though it was cool outside. But once you cut the first one and realize it was fine, the second one is easy!
:D

I hear you, I blasted a hole for a 12" sub in my brand new MasterCraft before it ever seen a drop of water.

Didn’t leave the gummy mess When I took the stickers off…you should be good to go.

Take them off before the boat gets too much sun and you have discolored rectangles when you finally do take the stickers off.

I know exactly what you mean… I drilled two 1.5” holes right at the water line on the outside of the hull and two 3” holes on the inside of the hull for the two additional deck drains I installed… that should make plugging in your charger cord effortless!
