Is August!!! bring the 2017 Yamaha boat line up

Thanks Bruce. Yeah definitely know that the best deals will be after the 17's are out but if I was gonna wait that long then I'd just want to get the 17 even though it was more. :) Just wasn't sure if I'd be making a mistake if I did something now and a few days later after the announcement there would be some better incentives thrown out. Appreciate the thoughts!
It depends which model you are considering.
If you are looking at 21fters, all pre-2017 leftovers will be on fire sale by the end of the month. But as far as 240/242, leftover 2016 discounts will be modest, I'm told. Maybe 1k or so. Nothing crazy.
190/192 seem to be the most inconsistent, based on availability.

Interesting, and very good to know @swatski as we are indeed looking at the 21 and the 24 and trying to make the decision between the two. Thanks!

Get the 24'. You will thank me later. It's just me, my wife, and our 2 year old son on our 242 and I wouldn't trade the space for anything. Good luck!

@swatsi must have heard some rumors / inside information!

As a rule, I agree with Swatski-
But you will find exceptions among dealers.
Dealers that primarily serve smaller, calmer bodies of water, will have issues moving 24's.
Those along the ocean, and affluent areas, can have issues moving 19's.
The other metric is the higher the boat volume, the higher the discount the dealer gets from Yamaha.
Regardless of their reason, just call a few and ask them what they are willing to do to earn your business?
The dumb ones will not work hard.
The great ones will, and save you thousands.

I have gone through the whole buying process recently, and yes, one does hear and learn things. Watching the inventories over a period of time is also pretty educational.

I would think the new 210s will be very sweet, but relatively overpriced. The AR240s are the best value right now, I don't think it's a secret, and don't see it changing anytime soon.

The 2016 AR240 is going to be very hard to improve upon (from the standpoint of getting better value, in this segment).

EDIT: I totally agree with @Glen.

I had preordered 2017 ar192... Dealer recently told me "wait for a big Suprise"... 1 more week... I'm going crazy waiting..

It would be awesome if you received an upgraded boat for the 2016 price!

Bruce, I did just that..

Rumor has it 2017 AR192s have the new TR-1 motor, and come with a new backward sweeping tower.

;)

That would be a huge reduction in power and increase in fuel efficiency!

And they are both electric powered by Tesla batteries with a 16 hour run life.

Alright folks... Next week are the big reveals.. I need some rumors to tide me over the weekend. Once I get the new boat home I promise pics will follow..

I heard the new lineup will feature floating boats.

(Just trying to help @malibu Dan )
