Not sure if the bench height is the same on the 21 and 24 foot boats but there is a cooler thread in the 19' section with coolers the people have used and fit under the bench. Might be worth a look. I just use my ski locker or shove it in the corner lol
That looks more permanent but I like the idea . We change up what we stow under the bench. Usually beach chairs or our boat bag aka bag with all the crap like towels, sun screen, etc.
Gentlemen, this is how I hope this is going to end up.
There will inevitably be two camps when it comes to steering mods. I enjoy a good review of products. (I am currently watching reviews on coolers now). The thrust vector camp can enjoy thrust vectors and the cobra camp can enjoy cobras. What I dont want to see is this forum degrade into to separate sides. This is the best forum on the Internet because we MOSTLY get along and everyone has something they can contribute. My hope is everyone has their say and we can let this topic go before more feelings get involved and people get angry and rage quit the forum. When people take their knowledge off the forum the forum suffers.

P. S. THE OPINONS AND VIEWS OF THE BEFORE MENTIONED IDIOT POSTER DO NOT NECESSARILY REFLECT THE THOUGHTS AND OPIONONS OF JETBOATERS. NET OR ANY INTELLIGENT PERSON OF ANYSORT. SERIOUSLY A 3RD GRADER COULD HAVE DONE BETTER!
Now we return u to your regularly scheduled drama!
I agree, but I think we all know that this isn't about fins, its about one vendor's BS.
Minus that component the fin discussion would still have two camps but the discussion and debate on this forum would be constructive, helpful, and amicable. Just like it is on literally every other topic on here. I'm a cobra customer, I'm still fed up with the BS and upset to see JBP (who also has a great products) smeared.
My .02 (if I could only stay out of these discussions - sigh)

I've been around long enough to tell you that is categorically not one vendor BS.
For anyone who is interested in improving their jet boat steering - there is a lot of good information on this forum, more coming, and it's pretty easy to parse out facts and reality from bullshit and vitriol.
@swatski Yep I'm new, and admittedly speaking from limited experience - has been the one small blight on this community I've experienced since I joined. Far out weighed by the wealth and quality of information that has been extremely informative and helpful. Having said that, I defer to your experience and history here good sir.
Guys, I don’t see how this post has any value and just serves to cause more drama. If you have a problem with something someone has done you deal directly with that person first. You don’t put them on blast on a public forum. It doesn’t matter who they are.
Normally I would agree. You probably missed the parts where I was publicly berated and painted as a dumb ass by Jeff. Then he (publicly) takes my review videos and edits them with his own texts with the entirety of his video being me and my boat. In light of that, I decided to publicly call bullshit.
Decided Santa should bring us a new one. Now as someone who laughed at spending hundreds on a yeti when my old Coleman worked just fine I was shocked at how flimsy the new ones from Coleman and igloo were.
Still couldn’t bring myself to buy a yeti.
So I bought the Wal-Mart copy. May just paint a mural of cock and balls eating a happy meal on the side of it. Should I make a video?
I use the $20 Colemans. I do have a Yeti to stock with ice for hurricanes, but the Coleman is all you need for fishing unless you are going to be out for a week.
This is what I use to put under the bench on the 19ft. Works great, used my fair share of Yetis and Rtic and this cools almost just as good under the seat.

@ttzz I did not mean to be rude at all. Just wanted to point out the fact - Jeff CObra has a patent or two covering fin design, but he certainly does not hold a patent for spreading BS on fin marketing, lol.
Check out some youtube videos for a better idea. Not just a slot like yeti but a whole flip up top. If doing just a day trip I leave it unzipped once on the boat which makes for very easy access. Holds ice a long time and is littlery the perfect height for under the bench.
Part of what I like about this forum. Kind of like a real conversation where one person can turn it wether it be intentionally or because they saw a squirrel. I did wait until you went that path as well though.
Those that are here a lot should know that I value truth, honesty, and ethics by now.
Oh look there is another thread on poles in or out
