How long does it usually take for the new models to hit the showrooms?
Nice! I will be there this year. I can't wait to see the 2016's and I'll be sure to take lots of pics and videos.I know that the Annapolis boat show in Oct always has the new 2016 models on display.
Yamaha has a dealer only release every year where they introduce their new lineup and educate the dealers.Where are they actually revealing the 2016 models, is it a boat show?

Agreed! And most of the comparable boats in this class have a 9' or 9' 6" beam. I am just not sure how likely Yamaha would be in creating a boat that requires an additional wide load permit for trailering. (or for that matter a boat longer than 24' - but one can dream)It needs a 9'6" beam!
They move it around year to year but its usually in a warm climate state like Florida. I not certain of the location this year.Any idea where in country?

He's not talking! LOL I believe somebody already said where it is in an earlier post....Does @Julian know or is he sworn to secrecy on that too

@Bruce did you attend the secret session with Julian at Yamaha HQ?I do not believe that Yamaha will sell anything wider or much longer in the US in the near future. But 28' LOA with a 9'6" beam would be a great platform for a small cabin cruiser with a Yamaha generator built in and a small AC / heat unit. Yamaha could follow the 190 FSH pattern and sell it as a large bowrider or a small cabin cruiser using the same lower hull with a differing upper section.
The Yamaha Jet Boat dealer meeting is in Amelia Island, GA for 2015.
Period.
Sadly for some dealers, Yamaha's "G3" boat dealer meeting is being held on the same dates. <???>
