Sorry, been awhile since I have visited this site. We will not be attending this year. Near the end of last summer we sold our Yamaha and purchased a Sea Ray 320 Sundancer. The new boat would be fun to have at Shelbyville, however, cost of transporting there and back is a deal breaker! Have fun everyone and do some jello shots for us!!!

Unfortunately I’m trying to finalize some work plans, which has been difficult. The earliest I will get there is Friday afternoon and stay through Sunday. I’m hoping to finalize and make arrangements this week if things are still available.

Everyone, this will be the 12th, Annual Friends & Family Boaters Gathering. Perfect Dozen!

The Place: Lake Shelbyville, Illinois
The Dates: Wednesday, July 24, 2019 - Sunday, July 28, 2019

In the past, most of the participants have stayed at Lithia Resort ( Lithia Resort Home Page ) which is 1/4 mile from a public launch and the Lithia Springs Marina (Lithia Springs Marina Lake Shelbyville Shelbyville IL ), where you can rent a slip for the weekend (NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS). We will keep the running list of committed crews within this first post.

I was hoping to sneak in for a day or two, but we’ll have the boat in NW Florida that weekend. We are potentially going to try the lake July 4th week though, if anyone is local? Maybe next year we can make the gathering.

Just wanting to clarify. Are you staying at Lithia Resort or am I misunderstanding? The reason for my confusion is that we reserved room #11 at the resort before we left last year.
