@Rob15 Which head unit you have? Stock?

I have the Fusion IP600G.. I got a good deal on Amazon last fall...

We cleaned the boat from all the salt spray that was on it from the Charleston run... this was my first experience with my boat in salt water so I was amazed at the salt u could simply wipe off of the side of the boat! So we cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned it today.... all done now!

Did the same today...in addition to cleaning out all the drinks that was spilled during the rough lake crossing. But it is all clean again and put up in storage.

I cleaned her, waxed her (between thunderstorms...that was a PITA), then SOLD HER! AHHHHHHH

Then while doing the test drive with @Opresso realized I'd forgotten the stern filler cushion at home (5 hours away) AHHHHHHH

Then discovered that I'd forgotten to get the plate off the trailer...and in NC you have to turn it in.....AHHHHHH

I just keep thinking.....new boat....new boat....new boat.........

.....Soon the mods will begin....... :-)

My first sucked-up rope---several feet of the aft dock line was left in the water and since the dock is so low it got sucked in. I couldn't get the rope out by removing the clean-out plugs so we had to lift her out of the water and cut the rope from under the boat.

So I removed the stripe graphic at the bottom, installed my home port and naked feet, and 20160519_095733.jpg installed my SVX 300 XM tuner yesterday!20160519_095821.jpg

Spark plugs, oil / filter and lubrication. Got my son into the action! The oil took forever to pump out and I had to pump a thousand times depite checking for leaks and oiling the pump. I am not at all happy with the pump I bought but it is done now I am off to the lake to cool my jets!

eticket, I've got the same extractor and it works great. Did you warm your engines first?

@DBamaC , yes I warmed them each for 6 minutes. There was good suction as once I got to the end the oil was rapidly shooting up the tube. However, for the first 95% of oil on each engine I had to pump every 20 seconds or so to avoid the flow from stopping. I lubed and reset the gaskets on the pump several times but it did not help. At least I got a workout!

I hate it didn't work for you. Quality is rare this day.

Yesterday I spent part of the morning working on the trailer lights. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. I ended up confirming that all of the lights on the trailer work so I don't need to mess with them, good, unfortunately the backup signal is not getting through on my SUV (boat hauler) and the running lights signal is not getting through on my truck (Waverunner hauler) but I can live with these issues for now. The good news is now I have test wiring harnesses for four and five pin flat trailer connectors. The bad news is that this morning I need to spend some time replacing the lights and wiring on my PWC trailer.

Lol
Hate the wiring issues! Always comes down to something super simple and makes you feel dumb.

Gonna pressure wash the boat, do oil change, plugs, grease everything and wash inside the boat really well.

Time to get on the water!14639239320571923235733.jpg

I added 2 JL Mx650s to my swim platform along with a Clarion Amp. I also replaced my 4 in cabin Polk speaker to JL MX650s also. Actually one set is the more expensive M650 that rung up for the same price as the MX650s. I also installed another Clarion Amp to power those. Wasn't a fun job cutting holes in the boat and running all the wire but overall I'm satisfied with the install. Also I had to work in the boat with the cover since it was raining all day today. The speakers sound AMAZING! Definitely worth the upgrade.

Over the weekend I finally got around to putting LEDs in my 192's cabin and air intake vents. The fact that the project was easy enough for my 10 y.o. daughter to help was a bonus.
...and yes, we sat in the boat in the driveway.
