Our neighborhood is pretty rural, surrounded by your standard developments and tight neighborhoods. As a result we have a large amount of wildlife passing thru day and night.

I often put corn out in the yard to feed the deer...saw this the other afternoon...took me a while to mentally process it.....pretty cool

very young, little undersized......we'll up the corn dosage and plant a go-pro need the feeder !!

I think its something like 1:30,000 for ratio's ?

They taste the same as the regular white tail deer. So do the pinto deer.

BTW we don't take the ones in the backyard at the feeder..considered the Wife's pets.

@Lspeedss when I saw it my son/I were standing next to each other...we commented on the blood splatter and the nice white coat.....:devilhorns:

I called fish/game for kicks, they said white deer are fairly common, Albino deer will have pink hooves and antlers, I'll have to look closer next passing.

That's just mean...lol.
I see pink eyes and white hooves.. I do know the Albinos taken around here have regular colored racks and pink eyes. Very rare that they get very big..short life span due to their standing out. Wild dogs and now coyotes have really taken their toll.

Mmmmmmm....Bambi

Nice!

A few years ago, near my house there was a young albino deer running around. The locals were hysterical that no hunters shoot this beautiful creature, so hunters passed up the deer all through archery season.

A week after archery season ended, the pale dummy got creamed by a car. :p It was like a "Final Destination: Deer" script.

I got a yearling piebald (white and brown) deer many years ago with a bow, have the full body mount in my basement.

We had an adult albino deer in our neighborhood for the last 3 years....but haven't seen it this year....must be feeding someone/thing! We used to feed them, but all that did was attract them to sit in our back yard and eat EVERYTHING. My winter project is to put up deer fencing!

It is amazing how destructive deer can be. I've seen them mow down 4 foot tall by 50 foot long yew bushes in a few days. All 3 sides! Nothing kept them out when the snow fell. Not a fence. Not a freaking thing!

@Julian is going to need a 9ft fence.

There was a piebald deer around my in-laws house a couple of years ago. It looked a lot like the deer in the picture below, except much prettier. It was the coolest looking deer I have ever seen. The hunter who got him/her had the full hide tanned.

Mmmm Chocolate and Vanilla!

I thought only chickens had white meat or dark meat? I wonder which is more tender.

Seriously though, that's a beautiful animal.
