2019 Bimini Trip ( Unofficial Thread Until Admin Puts Official One Up)

The kicker is my son is getting married next year too in Ocho Rios so I may have to start selling stuff off ;)
Another option would be to go the "traditional" route and demand a dowry from the bride's family... just trying to help you out here!!! bwahahaha

It looks like this is turning more into the 2019 Abacos thread....;)

I have now heard of 4 different trips planned being planned on here already for 2019 and none were Bimini yet lol. I know there is a group going to Abaco, one going to Andros, Another going to the Berry Islands and at least two different groups going to Exuma in 2019. Sounds like it will be a busy year.

I just hope to see all the adventures as you guys go past bimini!
Would it pay to go to grand bahama directly instead of bimini first and then you stay the first night in Grand bahama, then travel down from there?
I don't have much to go on but google maps here...
Looks like for Abaco you would launch like Jupiter to West Palm beach area over to West End, Stay somewhere on Freeport, then the next day, head to Abacos?
Would it be just as long to go from bimini to Nicholls town and then to Nassau?
I can't wait to see the adventures!
I would personally like to do Bimini one more time at least before I ran further away from my own country!

If the weather is good you can make it to TC or GTC in one day, it's 190 miles. Average 25mph and you can get there in 8 hours. Stops for fuel and customs will add 2 hours if you're in a small group.
Staying in West end is expensive, but so is staying at Spanish.

If you were going to Abaco Bimini wouldn’t be on the agenda. A launch from west palm to west end is ideal

So are you eluding to a Cuba Fling Bruce ;)

@robert843 looks like someone upgraded their Seadoo. I will admit, had I not ran across their Exumas videos several years back I would have never had the opportunity to do the trips we've done. I remember staying up that first night watching every video I could find. 4 years later we've enjoyed 3 trips to Bimini, a trip to Abacos, and of course the Exumas. Much like @1948Isaac, Kevin and Corrie videos have cost me a lot money but it's been worth every penny.

As soon as I upgrade to my center console an exuma trip will be executed! I cant stop thinking about Bimini and it just makes me want to go further.

Can someone please use this song next year for their video? Every time I hear it... y’all and Bimini is what I imeiditly think of! Listen to the words it’s oerfect! Cheers.

Sounds like the perfect excuse for you to go next year

Honestly... my anxiety of what can go wrong is what has kept me from joining this trip. Maybe someday. Next year is not in the cards but I love living vicariously through you all!

Will do!!!

Hoping this new Tropical Storm in the Atlantic steers North of Bimini!!

I was cleaning out pics from my phone and came across this one from the 2017 crossing.

They looked exhausted

They had driven straight from Austin to Fort Lauderdale to launch then fought with a clean out port hatch for the entire crossing.

These guys were tough as nails. Hats off, for that.

Hey, when will the dates be selected for the 2019 Bimini trips? I have scanned these threads, forgive me if I overlooked, thanks
