Ok still looking at doing this as a last minute trip Fri- Sun. will most likely stay in a hotel. Kids 2.5yr 6.5yr. What kind of activities are planed. Will we be able to hang out at the resort for a cookout. Plus I promised my 6yr we were doing a campfire and marshmallow this weekend.

Oh, I’m sure we can make roasting marshmallows happen, at least, at Lithia Resort!!

My kids are 3, 6, and 12. And there will be many others in similar age ranges.

@Speedling when are you guys headed down? We are leaving Thursday morning, just wondering if we will be traveling at the same time.

Depending on where i work some time between 5 pm Wednesday and 5 am Thursday lol. May try for a quick nap and then leave super early am. I have 3 jobs demanding i work work work. I try to give as much as i can before i leave then hanging for a few days.

If I were a betting man, we (and by we, I mean a good portion of us) will be surfing every dang day!

Sounds good, I just wanted to let her know ahead of time. As if I venture over to Lithia on Thursday night then plan something for early Friday morning (that doesn’t give me anytime to let my wife know). If she is sleeping when I get back and sleeping when I leave Friday morning.

I was going to extend to include Wednesday night at lithia springs campground but it says walk ins only. Same site (69) anyone know whats the deal? Would be a bummer to have to wait until thursday just because the website won't let me book!
There is no phone number for that place. Just directs to army corp.
If someone is on site can you check it out and pm me? Would love to arrive 8pm tomorrow night instead of 5 am thursday morning

Agreed my boys will be 4 and 9 this fall. We need to get these kids together. Last we were not by kids the same age. So my boys didn’t venture out too much, so hoping this year we can raft up closer to some kids closer to their age.
