Tonight's sunset across the valley.

I would be at Wolf Creek right now, but have had some heart problems just come up. Have something weird going on with irregular heart beat and I think it's long term Covid symptom. I'm super jealous!!!!!
Sorry to hear of the heart difficulties, I hope the docs can get you back to fully good health so you can get back out to Wolf Creek! It’s one of my favorites - went skiing there over the Christmas break this year. Like the lakes last summer, it was SUPER busy compared to normal. Still the most/best snow in Colorado.

I saw that yesterday. What a bonehead captain. He crashed into everything

LMAO, do you see the person with the big ass black fender in the Third Video like that is going to help? Wow.

This is one of the moments in time i wish i could freeze, my love/hate relationship with my truck is 90/10 at the moment

Not a single leak, no oil, no transmission, no power steering, no fuel, no coolant ! And yes @Betik i did check to make all were at proper levels

It starts on the first spin of the starter and the e4od switches easily with no fault codes,
And the entire dash lights up at night to read all the gauges,

I only have to fix oil gauge and dash bezel that broke trying to replace bulbs and fix flashing O/D light and the headliner is starting to fall !!

What i had last month

OOPS! Crash it once, shame on the Captain...crash it twice, shame on the Captain!

New boat and the computer controlled pods went haywire. Captain has Tons of experience...amazing that he couldn't just shut it down after he hit the first time!

My beloved 2006 FX HO Waverunner.

Was here

Now it’s here, new home (the guy’s I sold it to today). A better place? Yeah, retired on the water (on a jet dock in a private 80 acre lake shared by 25 lake front owners, most retired and becoming non boaters) she has earned it.

No more trailering for her in her golden years (she had under 100 hours when I got her in 2010, 350+ hours when I sold her).

It still hurt to see her go even though I will be replacing her soon and the transaction was smooth (the guy emailed me at 630a, was here with trailer in tow and money in his pocket by 9 and out of here at my asking price by 10, it would have been 930 if we had more help moving it between trailers and his winch strap hadn’t broke.

Another thing I saw today, the results of me not paying enough attention while pulling the boat out of storage. Another one (shipping cover from a newer model) bites the dust.

Some gopro stills from last night. This is near our home and we ride here a lot. There's a ton of pedaling to get to the trailhead, but the downhill is worth it. Very steep, fast, drops, and jumps. Yesterday there was 4 guys that drove an old volkswagen to the trailhead with their downhill bikes, they ride down, and carry the bikes back up. I can't imagine how they get this volkswagen up here because some sections are very steep with a lot of ruts from rain run off.
