Walked out and spectated on St. Clair a little over a week ago making the best of the really cold streak we had in MI in Feb (kept my truck on land - less than a month to go on the lease, lol). Now after some warmer temps the last week (a couple days in the 50+ range), they're talking about last ice! ? Getting antsy to get out on the unfrozen water!

There is a downhill trail near where i'm staying in brazil. We are 2 hours ahead US eastern time so we've been waking up at 5AM EST, ride 15 min to the trail, and then log in to work at 8:30AM EST. The temperature is 90+ degrees every day so we're thinking to sleep early to wake 2 hours earlier when the temperatures are cool. It's funny to me, because her 65 yo dad rides here at the crack of dawn and climbs up this steep mountain like its nothing. And we push the bikes most of the time

Yeah some areas are sketchy. I saw a car jacker on the interstate to rio de janeiro. But we are staying in Macae and its safe here.

Done that....twice, with 16p framing nails. 1st time hand driving, 2nd time nailed two fingers together thru a glove with an air nailer. "Just pull it out and keep working...it's a long way from the heart."
