I was kind of a chill last night here in FL sat out back in the patio with the family after the wife was prepping dessert and cinnamon buns for Christmas day. But it felt really good and now today will be in 80s.

Took a different trail today on the dog walk. Took this at a gate entering the woods up behind our old "Christmas tree field". To the right is the horse barn and up on the hill behind it are the house in the trees, right arrow and wind mill is the left arrow.

From up there I see this.

Two outa three ain't bad... We built this garage/apt in 1995, lived in it for 8 years while we built the timberframe we live in now. Today is the first day ever we put two vehicles in the garage. I think I will celebrate with a beverage. No more walking out to a snow covered/frozen truck in the morning. It's the little things...

Merry Xmas. “Santa” put down her glass of wine to stock the tree.

There was joy, and family fun. But...
Xmas Eve would not be complete without the Bean-Boozled Challenge.
And yes, there were losers...

Bean boozled is so bad but we laugh each time we play it :D

The rotten fish and dirty dishwasher flavors about made me literally hurl chunks :D

Crazy how they can get the flavors so dialed in. I would hate to be a taste tester for the company lol

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Can’t wait to add these two mods to the boat! Both will be very welcome additions!! Going to get some EZ steps for the trailer before the season starts. What did Santa bring you for the boat?

Frozen, already on the NY side of the lake.

Safe Harbor marina at Rouses Point, NY, about few yards from Fort Montgomery and the Canadian border.

Took route 2 across, then rt 78 - which was like a skating ring last night, just sheer ice, not sure how we made it to Jay in one piece! Praise the Lord.

Now. About the hit the slopes!

Welcome to Vermont. You mean Ft. Blunder? Was wondering which way you would go. That is a nice route, no ferry, just a bridge. It was freezing rain here and South/Central Vt. most of yesterday. Radar showed all snow in the NE Kingdom. Snow now out the window this morning.

It was slippery last night, I parked the truck in the arena and took the tractor home with a load of salt sand, just in case, but the Suby handles it just fine.

I would have expected to see more boat covers on boats up there. But leaving the mainsail and sail cover on is sacrilege. We are at Safe Harbor Shelburne Ship Yard and most boats are covered. They, the new owners, are putting a lot of $$$$ into the place.

A little bit of ice glazing the snow from the freezing rain yesterday. You can feel it around your ankles as you walk. The dogs like to eat it, but don't like the feeling on their paws.

Went down to do a few mid day chores. Stopped by the horses, thought they were glad to see me as they got closer, you know feeding time, but I guess it was just a load of horse$#!/
