Florida Keys trip planning

@Garrett C
This will be our fourth time to Cudjoe and 6th or 7th time to the keys. We love the square grouper (it's walking distance from our house)! Also enjoy Tonios (on Summerland). As you say....we typically do a pub crawl in Key West too! Bahia Mar is a nice spot too!

I have a Garmin but have never attempted loading or importing data....assume its straight forward. What I'm mainly looking for are boating locations for sandbars, beaches etc. Fishing if anyone has any great ones.

Where we are staying, our landlord (Mitch) says he'll show us the local ramp and assist us with navigational advice. His houses are a great spot! We can get anyone his contact info if you want to avoid the VRBO overhead and pay cash. We've stayed in 2 of the 3 houses, and will be in #3 this time.

Sounds like a great trip and a great house to stay at. Always nice to have someone who knows that area point out a good boat ramp as there are plenty sketchy ones in the area. Yes, Boca Grande is amazing (our favorite spot, especially since you can't get cell phone service so work couldn't get a hold of me), but I didn't know how far you wanted to travel as from Key West, it is a 30-40 min trip in my AR-190. Again, Snipes, Marvin and Content Keys are great for sand bars. Duval Street is waiting for your arrival and pub crawl I can assure you of that :) I will have to keep Mitch in mind for when we head back to the keys for a trip. Drive and boat safe and have a great time!
