Sounds like you have it figured out. Hoping the wife soon happy again.

She is happy and so am I. I panicked at first thinking I had more to fix because I pulled the float switch for the evaporator drain, hit it, and shut the system down outside. So I restarted it and boom, nice cool and comfortable house once again. Cleaned the outside coils while I was at it, just need to clean the inside with the spray this weekend and system should be good to go. I'm complaining about AC while there was a 40 car pile up today up North with the Storm going through.

On A/C units it is a good idea to change the main contactor and the start capacitor every 10 years or so. Easy to change and not expensive. Keeps the wife cool and happy. Cam.

It was our first all-inclusive and given that we don't drink alcohol not sure it was worth it. Loved the resort, the scuba diving was included so that was nice. Being first timers and arriving really late on our first day, I don't think they did a very good job of orienting us to the resort and the options available to us.

When your 'boat' is too big to haul out, you gotta set up scaffolding on floats around it so you can tent it for painting.

Are you getting the mistletoe by blowing it off the trees with a shotgun?

What do you do with mistletoe? Just decoration?

She had read about mistletoe in books. Typically you hang it from the ceiling and people kiss under the mistletoe. Emma and Gavin both took some to their teachers to decorate with.

Are you getting the mistletoe by blowing it off the trees with a shotgun?

The options as I see them are to cut the tree, climb the tree or shoot it down. It is a family tradition to shoot it down. It grows out on the ends of limbs so minimal harm is done to the tree. I remember going back to the same cluster in the same tree year after year as a kid.

It was fun that it was Emma's first time to shoot a shotgun, it was my Grandfather's shotgun and my Father had found a tree full of mistletoe at what had been my Grandparent's house.

You better keep the shotgun handy to imply a message.

No joke, until Bruce's post I didn't know what the source of Mistletoe was but assumed that it was bush and was harvested with garden snips. When we want Mistletoe we buy it prepackaged from the store along with ornaments and lights. Guess I'm a city slicker to the core.
