My Son and his team mates on the podium after accepting their medals at the JR. Olympics. He is currently ranked 7th in the nation by the USA Track and Field association (aka USATF). Those ranked 8th and under are considered "All American's" in the event.

Guess we'll be seeing him at the Olympics soon.

Did a header raise and new doors on the new house. No more fu#%in' around with trying to weasel her into the garage. Also put a winch on the floor to make pulling her in a breeze.

My three PONs, shaved for Summer, taking a deep breath as they ponder walking into the rain.

Picked up the boat from the dealer after trying to get my Bluetooth working under warranty. On the way home, we stopped at a Target and grabbed swimwear and changed all plans and headed to Lake Geneva. I can see @sofakingbig down the beach!

Looking good @OperationROL we missed you today, we were hanging with a buddy with a new AR210 showing him the "ropes". We're headed to Shelbyville this week, day late and a dollar short, but we're heading down. Looks like it was another good jb.net gathering?!?!

Saw this visiting Canadian boat tied up to the dock near us this evening.20180805_201021.jpg Willow and I were enjoying after dinner drinks on the dock finger and the owner walks by pushing a scooter and says it was his "landinghy" in a french accent and I thought he said Lamborghini. I almost spit my beer. Then we watched him do this.

Today on Kaskaskia River, IL - our surfing wave seems to be looking better every time!
upload_2018-8-5_22-56-31.png

One minor glitch was... I got literally k.o.ed by an... Asian carp! No joke, it was like a missile, punched me strait in my eye socket - BOOM!
Got some ice on it but may be walking around with black eye...Unbelievable. Now, what do I tell to explain it...? (Yeah, right, a wakesurfing accident... ;))

Here is a clip with Kate surfing today, a carp jumping...

So I’m at a restaraunt in Turlock, CA which is arguably in the center of CA’s argicultural area and I saw this notice. What is up with Lemons? My neighbors can’t give their away. I just heard the manager say they get theirs mostly from Florida. Weird that the lemons here have to travel 3,000 miles to get on a plate. Maybe FL lemons are better than CA lemons.

I can’t believe Commiefornia imports Florida lemons!!!! Don’t they know that FLORIDA lemons have a max capacity of 17 seeds???

I See...This Center Console draw my eye every time I walk out to the boat. No, not an FSH or even a jetboat, but it looks nice and has a pair of Yamaha 150's OB's on her. It's a SeaFox 266 Commander.

If we lived in a coastal area we would certainly have a boat of that type with twin Yamaha outboards. In my opinion there's nothing better.

Not much place for a group to hang out in - shaded! Love our boat for that. I do like the utility of a CC, but the comfort and "loungability" leaves a lot to be desired.

I see lots of different types of "center console" type boats on the lake we are on regularly. There is lots of options in the designs of the boats and for shade. Anything you can dream of from very basic to every luxurious amenity possible. Just this past weekend I saw, and wished I'd taken a pic, a CC or bayboat with 4 400 Mercury outboards that was probably 38-40 ft. in length built by Cigarette. It had a center cabin that was obvious with an amazing paint job. The next time I see it I'll be sure to get a pic. I know it was new and I'm guessing $750k to 1 million price range. Amazing!!

OK... Sure when you are buying a house on water you'll get shade! Lol

Another quick dinner on the boat, shrimp salad, after work. Out there drilling holes to conceal wiring for the tv 12v power and antenna. Also drilling holes to conceal SeaTalk backbone cable runs for the EV-1 sensor (flux compass) and ACU-100 and laying out the SeaTalk hub location and runs to the control head and drive motor on the auto pilot. Pics. of all this later.

We like having a galley with a 12v frig. Connected to shore power. Don't have to bring out as much each trip. And we can make icecubes. It is small but...
20180729_181100.jpg
under and around all the drinks are veggies, salad dressing and yes, horseradish.
