I'm not gonna lie, it gets pretty f@#$%^& cold up here, lol.
Today, it looked like it was going to rain then it did rain and it was windy, and... whatever...
BUT
At the end, this time of year Hudson River is simply magnificent:

The view of the NY city emerging past the George Washington bridge (heading south, Spuyten Duyvil and Harlem river are just on the left - not in the pic), has become one of my favorite places. A picture can not do it justice.

I need to check this out on my next visit. Pretty cool.
In my youth I was able to free dive 30-40ft deep, that was along time ago, lol. Never using any ballast/drop weight. The beauty of free diving is one can descent and ascent as quickly as one can drop and equilibrate the middle ear, there is no risk of decompression disease.

Looks cool. Be aware of holding your breath for a long periods of time and "Shallow Water Blackout". In a pool with observers around you are good. Out in the ocean with few around can be fatal. Not trying to be a bummer, I just know of such a death. Live Like Benjo Foundation | Raising Awareness for Shallow Water Blackout

I really like that firepit. We just built a gas half moon shaped pit with seating wall by our pool this summer and it makes a nice place to hang out.
This is the show us what you see thread....so no holding back pics of your firepit!!!

huh, I am definitely not living life right. That is awesome.

Finally had time to figure out why my 1997 F250 at work wouldn’t shift due to the shifter flopping all over. At first I thought is was the shift cable that broke, but upon further inspection (tearing column apart) I found that was not the case.

I found that the shift tube that connects the shift lever through the column down to the arm that connects to the shift cable had broke

Luckily I sourced new one and had it all back together in good time considering I had no idea what I was getting into when I started.

Thank you. We had the pool built 2 years ago and then had it landscaped with mixture of rock and mulch (on inside of fence) which I never really liked that much once it was done. This year I had landscapers pull everything we just did last year and replace it all with 23 tons of river rock, the paver patio with fire pit and seating wall, and concrete steps going down to the second gate. My wife wasnt that happy to be redoing everything a year later but it turned out much better this time I think.

Came home to this today. One more and we’re done calving for the yearView attachment 137668

Warning Farmer talk coming...Awesome, Nice cow, she cleaned up well. She dropped/ate? the placenta already. Well done, one less thing to think about. She (mom) looks bonded already. Do you leave him/her on the tit for the colostrum or do you milk/bottle feed? I imagine the less work way being more beef oriented than milk.

1st calf for her and she’s doing great. She ate the placenta, cleaned the calf, it sucked already and had it’s ear pierced. I let them calve on their own but can bring them in and put in a stall if they’re having issues. I’ve only had one instance where I had to put the cow in the head gate due to a calf that was dumber than dumb, it needed help finding the tit & sucking for the first few days.

Hahaha I figured it out right away just by looking at the pic and could have saved you from ripping the column and dash apart.
It says FORD!
Sorry I had to!

First Thanksgiving that i can remember that didn't have football involved, took the nieces to shoot skeet, my daughter had her first 50 straight and ended the day 97/100

Sanding my shotgun

My niece dropped it yesterday on the driveway and took a nice chip of the pad and some of the wood. It wasn't really her fault as my daughter didn't zip the bag all the way closed and it slipped out,

It's ok as it's a working tool and i bought it already freckled but has functioned flawlessly for 3 years and at least 4k shots, just another story and a little more character for it,

Sounds like your daughter should be helping/learning on this project. ?
