I can get working on her at the shipyard. Going to the SSY shortly to continue the buffing on the starboard topside. A 45 min. drive. Would be nice to be on the hard in Malletts Bay, 20 mins. away, but we have had shallow water issues in the Fall coming into the bay with a draft of 6'8". The marina there damaged our keel, took no responsibility for the grounding damage while they were at the helm and we had to file a claim back in 2018. So we are apprehensive to go back there. The water at Shelburne Ship Yard is much deeper as they haul out and maintain the Lakes' Ferry Fleet.

Edit: Do you have a place to store on the hard over the off season, or will you leave her in her slip during the cool MONTH in NJ?

Working a shine back into a 31 year old hull and a reflection appears from beneath the oxidation.

One section that I can reach at a time from the top step of a 6’ ladder holding out a rotary buffer at arms length. Working just forward of the portlight.

Bought a car on Sat (4/23), the dealership has some pretty impressive other options, pics are of just a small sampling. They even gave my son a quick ride in a McLaren Elva (listed for $2.5 Mil), he hasn't stopped talking about that!

Regardless the wife said "No", she still needed a 3 row SUV.

So...did you buy the yellow one?
Figured he bought all 3. Seen somewhere he was talking about 3 in a row or something like that??

Got my dads 1969 Chevelle over to my place to finish up the restoration. It’s been going on for close to 20 years so he needs some help to get it over the finish line so he can actually drive it before he’s too old (he’s already late 70s).

My garage is so narrow I had to pick up a Trailer Valet XL to get the boat over far enough. It’s a little sketchy but gets the job done.

Thank you. I’ve got a very understanding wife!

The car is going to be awesome once it gets a top and interior. I used to drive it some in high school before it started its never-ending restoration and it was a blast despite being a little beat up and slow.

Installing new holley retrobright headlights, it was really like driving with only running lights with the old ones

Can't remember if I posted this for Easter here or not. Send it to a coworker every year for the last half a decade. New peep in coffee each year. Been working on my lighting and framing for pictures.

Not too many spring flowers out here yet. Just a few “Colts foot”…

But they closed back up when they saw this fine example of a Spring day today.

Stopped in the office today and noticed this sign in at the entrance to our company cafeteria (our offices have been closed since the Pandemic began).....its like an end of the world movie scene:

Our offices opened up recently and I've yet been there, and really don't wanna go there. LOL! Interviewing for a new job and met with the team this week. One of the guys said "you're not going to make us come back into the office are you?". HAHA! Of course not cause I don't wanna drive 45 mins in traffic each way, spend $120 a month on toll road fees, and the gas in my truck to go in full time either.

Tile work is like a work of art. This turned out amazing. Those aren't on a 12"x12" sheet or anything either. Those are all individually set. Grout goes down later today. Can't wait to see what this guy does with our bathroom remodel! Cabinet people come on monday to reface all of our cabinets and install some custom vanities. Should be interesting with multiple contractors here next week. Hopefully they all get along. LOL!
