What is historically fished for in the river there?

Perch, bass, Northern pike, walleye in the deeper pools downstream, rainbow trout in some of the tributaries, catfish usually at night. There are 4 hydro electric dams on the river where we fished. The first one up from Lake Champlain stops the sturgeon, Atlantic salmon as well as all other species from passing it.

Cleaned the dinghy bilge and floor boards and winterized the motor yesterday. Yes there was filth where the sun does not shine.

Winterizing was just taking the motor off and putting in a heated garage.

Then we went for a bike ride on the Burlington waterfront.

Removed a huge tree that was falling over and heaving the ground and roots , it was ready to touch the water and block the creek. It had 4 "trees" growing vertically that were 12 to 18 inches in diameter so it waa getting heavier every year.
The trunk is all of 28 inches round.
Left most of it across the creek since its a farm and doesn't care about the creak side
