I stood outside at work for about 15 min when it was supposed to land and must have missed it. Then my son yells at me when we got home... "look a bat plane"! What ever it was doing on base today was above my pay grade!
Reminds me - many years ago, must have been early '90s, I was with my brother and a buddy at an air show in Michigan.
They had an F-117A on the tarmac in static display with an encircling rope barrier a good 50 ft away from the aircraft... and three M-16 toting guards manning the rope in case anyone not take it seriously.
So, my brother had a nice Minolta auto-focus SLR (I think it was a 5000i, but could be wrong)... and he kept screwing around with it trying to take a photo of the stealth aircraft. Anyway, after about three minutes, one of the display attendants walked over (not the armed guards) and mentioned that the autofocus would never work on the F-117A.
We had a good laugh at my brother's expense, but were also quite impressed with how well the stealth shape/coating/etc actually worked.
Boating last evening on Falls Lake......I'm falling in love with going out after work. It is much easier with a slip, and there are so few boats on the lake during the week!!!! This shot is completely untouched (no photo shop whatsoever):
I saw a few of these 6 place pwc trailers last week in Cabo. I love to jet ski but the thought of renting, maintaining, etc. them for a living doesn't appeal too me at all.

There are tons of these places here in PCB. There is no maintaining going on. Lots of yamahas and never a rinse. They just use them up for a season or 2 and they have WELL paid for themselves so they liquidate them and move on. It's a great place to get a cheap ski, could probably still get a couple reliable years out of them but they probably wouldn't last too long. One place we pass on our no wake zone out of the lagoon has about 50 for rent. Imagine all that rinsing. They store them on the floating docks that you run them up on so they don't sit in the water but that just keeps the hull clean.

My wife told me to pick up a movie for our boys at a redbox. I just realized my boys have never been to a movie rental store to pick out Friday night movies. It took some googling and a 40 min round trip, but we found one!
