Seems like the top is going to splay out over time, is there a connector or something to hold the outer top edges together? Eyebolts and rope?

It may just be a moot point, with the sides being a guide as the wood locks together. Not burning wood myself, I just can't wrap my head around it.

There is braces on each side that tie back to the rear center. You can see one in the second pic.

Jim I am sorry to hear about your Wife. I she is recovering quickly
Thanks. She is doing better, but it put a damper on our planned outdoor activities for the Summer/Fall. We did go ahead with our planned cruise to Alaska and had a great time.

Jim

We went fishing yesterday. Weather was warm. Lost my Mepps #4 Aglia Rainbow spinner to another big northern pike. All good until it saw the boat and the 12# line was no match for its teeth. Other than that, a couple of perch. Water temp. 58°.

Different angle for you … We used 5/8” CDX plywood and all of the 2x4’s are treated. Covered all of it with two coats of Thompsons water seal with a chestnut color.

The high yesterday was 28°, breezy with freezing drizzle in the morning and about an inch of snow later in the day, this morning it’s 8° on the porch. My little wood stove has kept the entire house warm… I loaded it up last night before bed around 2100 hrs with pine and one oak log, still plenty of coals to get the fire going quickly this morning. It was 64° in the living room at 0415 and a little less than a hour later it’s 68° and climbing fast. Once the stove gets hot the exterior is 600°-700°, the stove has a plenum built around it and a small blower at the base that moves a lot of air around the stove. Once the stove gets up to temperature it doesn’t just burn the wood it gasifies it. It is pretty amazing how such a small stove heats the whole house.

Pics of what I saw, caused and dealt with yesterday morning before work. The context being that I got a buyer coming to pick up the empty trailer this weekend so i had to get it out from behind my boat.

man, that's tight.
will be nice to get that gone and the space back...only small things left to sell from donor boat?
also thought you scored a slip for your boat? or just out for 'winter'?

I still have an engine bundle (motor, ecu, wiring harness and electrical box), almost all the cushions, glove box and engine, head and swim deck hatches among a lot of small items. I don’t know why I kept all of this stuff.

I never got a call for a slip space or dry stack space this season, no big deal since I didn’t boat much this season, I may try again before next season.

total damage not nearly as bad as I expected. Mainly the dewatering process, oil change and plugs was the most costly. Horn is on back order.

During the week I am already at work at this time so I never get to see the sunrise.

Sure beats having to total the boat!
If lines 2-5 are what they’d charge to unhydrolock an engine that seems pretty good.
