Very cool! I have an R5 and the RF100-500.

Lots of Ospreys and a few Eagles hang around my pier...

Great equipment, and beautiful pictures! Eagle, osprey, and heron hunting is our primary activity on the boat. I’m hoping to get some good active shots of osprey fishing this summer.

Have you been up to the Conowingo Dam? We’re camping about 30 minutes from there this spring, and I’m planning to spend a morning there. I know it can be hit or miss, depending on time of year, but people get great eagle shots at that spot.

All good here. Was a pretty wild ride around 2am this morning. I was woken up by the creaking of the Oak Timber frame against the 65-70mph winds. Plowing slush to expose the driveway stone below before it freezes.

At 1:54am a gust was recorded at BTV of 69mph, I gotta tell you it fealt like at least 70 at my place.

Stupid but lucky!

Pretty nasty weather last night, especially around 9-10 pm. We ended up with about 2.5” of rain and wind gusts of around 70 mph. As my garage is currently in use, I have all the toys stored outside under tarps. The UTVs are on their trailer, the sailboat is on its trailer and the kayaks are on the rack behind the sailboat.

Heard a loud crash last night and it turned out to be the wind toppling the kayak rack with the kayaks on it. Went out this morning and found this after I pealed back the kayak tarp:

The 4”x4” uprights of the kayak rack fell on either side of the stern of the sailboat! Pulled out the kayaks, and returned the rack to the very edge of the driveway, placed the kayaks on the lower two spots (instead of the upper two spots - duh) and pulled the sailboat about 3 feet further from where it was.

Great temps down here today.
On my way to work this morning it was 45. On my way home, 81. When I opened the door to walk to my car, it was like walking into a blast furnace. Then I saw this sticker on the back of the car in front of me. I think Florida can get rid of “sunshine state” on our license plate and replace it with this. “My Driving Scares Me Too”
