2018 Lake Shelbyville Gathering July 25 - July 29, 2018

The campground by the marina is nice, but I've only tent camped and its been years. The main shower house was much nicer than the ones in the loops back then, I don't know if those were renovated. If you are bringing a camper, you definately want to scope the sites. There are some pull through and some larger ones, but on the first loop anyway the sites get tight by the water.

Bonus...If you have too much "fun" at the resort you can walk home!

@OperationROL, @JCampbell and @007 are reserved at Lithia Main Cabin!

We stayed at Lithia springs campground for the 2017 gathering. We plan to stay there again for 2018. We were in something like site 102. Its a short walk to the activities at the resort. I liked it because it was close to the exit. Down by the water, the sites get smaller and are less likely to have sewer. There was another family from the gathering across the street from us, but we never saw them at the site. We didn't know they were with the gathering until we saw buckbuck pull their boat out of the water on the last day.

We are debating camping or cabin. I am still fixing up my camper. Probably another $1200 to go in parts to make it like I want it. But, it should be pretty nice when done. Not a good carpenter so that slows me down!

How early did we need to reserve boat slips? Wasn't it after January?

I believe the day to reserve slips is March 1st. They don't take reservations until then. Do make sure you call that day though, it'll fill up quick. Tell them you're with the Yamaha group and they'll take care of you.

@bobbie - Do you mind if I edit your first post to make this thing official and track everyone?:)

Last time we went down to Lithia campground we decided that 85-100 would be easier for us to back the camper in and be closer to the action. That is where we are planning on making our reservations this March.

"This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you." - Is that because I have a free account?

It’s probably my corporate filter. I’ll try and put it in google docs and upload it again.

@firecap797 I don't recall seeing your drone. What kind do you have?

OK this looks way too fun and way more accessible than Bimini for my family.

Can some one point me to a thread(s) that I can see info on this? I'm interested in hotels, or camping or a cabin and costs I need to know about other than food, lodging. I want to know everything basically, LOL.

Thanks in advance!
