I am planning to go to Bimini July 9-16 (Sat to Sat). I will be staying at Bimini Cove. I am happy to have a few boats join me if they are well prepared are looking for company. Ideally no more than 6 boats total, 3-4 would be perfect.

Departure from Harbor Towne Marina (won't be staying overnight at Bahia Mar) early on Saturday Morning - watching the wind/wave forecast of course.
Returning the morning of the 16th.

If you haven't read the preparing for Bimini thread I urge you to do so: https://jetboaters.net/threads/preparing-for-bimini.3800/

I would love to go need to be sure i can get time off, im waiting on a couple of things to happen before i make that final decision

Are you crossing alone or do you have a few boats going with???

Good luck and stay safe.

Godspeed

Crossing alone (but there are always boats crossing on Saturday)

Has anyone heard from @Julian? His Spot tracker appears to have run down less than 10 miles before arrival.

There was more sargassum than I've ever seen in the first half and because it was so rough we ingested a lot and ran for quite a while with cavitation as it would have been iffy to stop. We stopped 1.5 miles short of Bimini to add a five gallon can of gas as we didn't want to run out in the channel. This is why we always take spare gas.
