I have a 2023 195 FSH Sport. A few months ago, I was in the bay and noticed that the boat was lagging. I turned on the bulge bump and when I did I lost all electronics. When I open the engine compartment it was filled with water. I was able to make back to shore. When the boat was placed on the trailer I noticed that the Hull and fiberglass was completely destroyed. Where the hull was put together at the seams had come apart causing the fiberglass to come apart as well therefore letting water into the engine bay.

My question is that I have called Yamaha Corporate, they have sent a person to inspect the vessel and found that the hull was not put together right. Now Yamaha is saying that they want to send another person out to look at the boat. How long does this take them to let me know what they are going to do?

If anyone knows the this question pleas let me know. I'm going on 3 months with no boat but have a boat payment.

I don't think there is an answer to that question. I advise you to contact them often and demand answers. Big companies often struggle with direct consumer issues like this - they typically only deal with their dealership.

Given your situation I would call daily.
