Exactly what I said! With @ThatJeepGirl being a teacher and having an 8 year old it's not a great idea that early in the school year to be sitting in a truck fo 10 hours the day before school

Unfortunately, we are out this year, but check out Lake Murray near Columbia, SC; you haven’t done so before. That lake boasts clean emerald water, productive fishing, deep channels, and it is ENORMOUS. Plenty of large rentals homes on the lake, for multiple families to share. It has become our Memorial Day & Labor Day go-to Location In order to get the families together.

On a separate note, we are going to be down at Lake Murray for Memorial Day weekend this year, in the Batesburg-Leesville area. If anyone plans to be out that way, message me and I can start a thread on it for an unofficial gathering.

Gaston is pretty awesome. I spend more time there than I do any other lake as I have a buddy who keeps his skis at his house there. So I normally take mine up there either for the day or the weekend quite often.
