My youngest was stoked

Saw this on Facebook. Besides the obviously brilliant idea this guy had for transporting his boat and tow rig (sarcasm intended), does anyone else think that tower was put together wrong?

Something is very wrong with this photo....where is the rest of that truck???? Imagine extending the truck inside to its actual length, and it should be inside the cabin of the Uhaul? Is that the Tardis version of the UHaul? If that IS a full truck in there...no way that UHaul isn't overweight!

And yes....the stern bar of the tower looks to be on backwards.

The autumn colors are starting to show. A view from the edge of one of the beaver ponds on the farm.

For anyone local/around St. Louis, MO - the best window and gutter cleaning service around.

David Johnson, One Man And A Ladder, lol - he is fantastic. We have been using his service for over 10 years, give him our highest recommendations. Unmatched job quality and prices.
He is, however, very detail oriented and not fast.

Tanner Foust is a true ambassador for all motorsports. He's a great spokesman, and an excellent talent behind the wheel. Rockstar is the perfect sponsor as the term is used well in his case.

All sports need more people like this that excel because they have talent that is undeniable. Unlike some of the crybaby sports stars of the major sports like Basketball and Football.

completely agree, my son wants to do rally and we briefly talked about where he should start. I was very happy to hear that he told him the same thing I have been telling him. Junior sprint cars then move to something else. I have a friend whos daughter is now racing for TRD Racing in California. She started in a junior sprint car.

We just had the Ojibwe Rally up here in North Central Minnesota. Tanner has attended in the past, but we have been lucky to have Travis Pastrana the last few years. That is another example of a role model for our kids. That guy is Aces in anyone's book! Other than the extremely stupid stuff the Nitro Circus may do on occasion. But it is great entertainment.

We are lucky to be able to go rip the rally course on the off days, and even after the event, as it is held on Min-Maintenance roads that are our SXS trails, and snowmobile trails. My daughter gets a kick out of drifting the wildcat or riding her sled in places she has seen on the videos.

Put it this way, Pastrana will go from one sport to another and give it his all. Through crashes and broken bones, he keeps going for more. And always has time for fans and kids. I remember seeing him years ago, pulling a few tricks while racing Supercross, so he goes into Freestyle motocross before the sport even existed. Develops a whole new sport. Then moves on to the next one. Not only does he do that, he goes and masters the old spectator events like the Evil Knevel style jumps or Nitro Circus and comes back to be a hero to the kids again. Hell, I remember jumping my banana seat bike off boards in the driveway to be like Evil, and he was an A-hole by most folks definition.

True ambassadors like Tanner, Travis, Tucker Hibbert, Levi Lavallee, Chirs Burandt, and other multi-sport veterans deserve the recognition they receive. As well as the good business their racing and show teams have gotten as they invite the young to get into it and be the best athlete they can be first, knowing that a paycheck is a biproduct of hard work.

Things I saw on a walk in the woods.

Old fence posts scattered around, still solid after 100 yrs+. Note the one on top of the ledge above. They are boundary markers a previous owner placed when this farm was made up of 4 other smaller parcels. Must have had a source for old buggy axles.

Just north of New Hope.View attachment 84199
Nice, I spent 2 years in Jamaica as a missionary 14 years ago and traveled quite a bit of the island. It's a BEAUTIFUL country! I never made it around to New Hope, Savanna La Mar is as close as I got. I managed to see most of the north coast. I lived in both Negril and Ocho Rios but traveled the coast between the two and all the way to Port Antonio. South side I made it from Old Harbor to Yallas. I miss that place! My current wife won't get on a plane... she said if she does, it's 1 time to a tropical island and it would be to stay... Lol!

Anyway, ENJOY it! Stay away from di Bush weed and tek it easy pon di rum!

P.S. Port Royal looks nothing like the Pirates of the Caribbean movie...

Apparently that part was filmed in St Vincent in the Grenadines.
