Also, someone at Nissan should get a promotion for doing what Elon Musk couldn't do. Made the price of a new vehicle $69,420!

Pics from the local marina this afternoon.

I didn’t know the original hummers had such big engines.

The third pic down is of what I consider the prettiest boat in the marina.

This is followed by pics of the sticker prices for the new boats sold at the marina.

next is a pic of the dry stack, one side of it anyway. They say my boat won’t fit but I’m all but certain there are already longer boats in there.

I liked the plate on the Tesla pictured.

Looks like someone was taking delivery of their new boat and planned to put it directly into a wet slip.

this is the first time I’ve seen a covered boat lift on a trailer.

finally here is a price list for dry stack and wet slip storage at the marina.

Those prices are cheap compared to what I was getting in Florida. 24ft boat dry storage $700-$800 a month with a 1 year contract. I think my dad is paying $600 dry for his 20ft CC.

That's actually a perry great price for a new Supreme S220. Less than I paid for mine in '22. Earlier this year they were offering a $20k factory rebate. I'm pretty sure that price is reflecting that incentive. It's great for new buyers, but not so great for used Supreme values for those who bought just a couple years ago. Most my equity is gone, because the new models are priced so competitively. That's how the market works I guess... Here's a instagram post Boardco put out in January.

I always wonder how much profit is built into MSRP when manufacturers are offering discounts of 15% or more. I’m stuck in the past, I bought my 2010 used in 2012 for $40k. I thought that was expensive at that time and still do now even though that’s what it could theoretically be sold for now. At least according to my county’s assessor and comps I have seen online.

$100,000 plus is just too much for something that I I’m only going to use on the weekends in season and not every weekend at that. Now that I’m older and the kid is in college my boating habits have changed. I boat a lot less now that I live close to the water so could not justify buying a new boat. I’m keeping the boat I’ve got until I die or it sinks. Hopefully those events won’t be concurrent.

Ya....those Cali prices are almost 5 times cheaper than Naples Fl.
