Sub is now completely installed (well, other than the nameplate.) Wiring pulled, terminated, connected at sub end, sub mounted. Happy to have that done - was a bigger PIA than anticipated.

Son is doing the hand modeling:

@GTBRMC did you have any issues removing the helm seat? I tried the screws but chickened out as some broke loose but few I was worried would strip.

@mark_m ........... Nice mods. I just wanted to TRY and help ya out a bit and let you know, that after extensive research, we here @ jetboaters.net have concluded, after consulting with some of the best medical minds available in the world, that there is NO CURE (ie, "MOD SICKNESS").

Sorry to be the bearer of this bad new to you.
Hey ! Happy Memorial Day upcoming to you ! Miokey Lulejian- Lake Oconee, GA

Well... Last weekend I installed seadeck, despite the Friday night rain storm. I'll post photos and write up under separate thread.

Next area of sickness seems to be centered around new snap covers or to advance the audio upgrade agenda !

Not really. A couple of the bolts were a bit a reluctant to come up...they all had a bit of grit in the mounting hole threads.
I just removed them slowly and carefully, and I used a vacuum once or twice to suck away grit as I was backing out the bolts. Else, no significant trouble.

Did you use a #3 Philips bit inbuilt into a socket and a 1/2" ratchet? I started to fear stripping the Phillips head of the screws into the fiberglass.

I believe I just used a screw driver. It has been a couple weeks of frenetic driveway boating, trying to get mods done as season here is now really getting started.

Thanks to @ChargerGuy I have a new charger to install to replace my dead Guest charger (it served well for 7 years)

After almost loosing a finger last weekend I decided to replace the POS spring that is supposed to hold the anchor locker door open. I used a 15" gas strut I picked up from Auto Zone. While I was at it I removed the ladder that we have never used but is in the way every time we use the anchor.

Best Wishes, Mikey Lulejian - Lake Oconee, GA

Just put on my new cover, charging batteries and enjoying the new sound system.
Picked it up Monday from the week long install.
Added 4 Roswell tower speakers, 6 JL Audio interior speakers, sub and amp.
Really happy with it!

Love my charger! It is currently plugged in at the dock at Conley Bottom Marina, Lake Cumberland. Bilge pump on!
Seriously, it's been great and has kept my batteries in pristine condition. I used it all winter while my batteries were in the basement to keep them in great shape.

Installed a Keel Guard today. 20150616_165802.jpg(Ignore the dirty hull and trailer, I don't let a little rain stop me from taking her out!)

On a totally related note, anyone know the best way to repair any over scuffing that may have occurred while prepping the keel? See pic above.

Same as any other light scuff, I would imagine: light action with some rubbing/polishing compound...

Charger installed and both batteries charging!
What onboard charger do you use? I have a duel battery set up on my 2007 232 Limited and would love to have an onboard charger. Are they easy to install?

Thanks,
Scott

I keep a tube of Flitz on board the boat. Works great on just about every hard surface on the boat. Works great on minor scratches in the gel coat.

If the scratches are significant you'll probably want to hit it with very fine wet/dry paper first, then maybe some polishing compound as @tdonoughue mentioned. Don't go crazy, it's under the boat.....

That may be hard to cure right next to the newly installed keel guard. But it is just polish and buff as @tdonoughue said, but because of the guard, your going to have to work right up against it.
