Battling a stuck break caliper on the trailer right now but we are ready for Shelbyville!! Got home last night and the wife was cleaning up the boat all by herself!!!!! Much appreciated @jcyamahariders wife

Might I add I eneded up doing the whole boat by myself because Jerry was fighting that brake issue. I was just happy to help sometimes you just have to help the MAN out !

@jcyamaharider ... don't know if you interested or not but I'm not using my trailer since my boat is on a lift and if you are having issues with your trailer you can borrow mine. It towed great from Texas to MO and I'm sure it would work for your rig. Let me know.

That is a great gesture @Jim Robeson !!!! But good news, I just got my trailer fixed! I had to pull the caliper all the way off and get the piston all the way out of the caliper. I then polished the piston and cleaned up the whole caliper and removed the dust seal. I then put some good clean brake fluid and work the piston back and forth with an air hose and my hand until it was free again. Put dust seal back on and put in piston. Reinstall the caliper and let the line gravity bleed then put back on the brake line onto the caliper. Break open the bleeder valve and let gravity bleed again and then shut off bleeder. I blocked off my trailer so I could activate my trailer brakes in my driveway and cycled them a couple of times. Worked perfect!!!

Thanks again to you Jim for the offer and if I didn't get my trailer fixed I probably would have taken you up on it.

When will you arrive?

We leave this Sunday on a grand tour....Cincinatti first (visit my cousin), then going to Mammoth Cave, then to Shelbyville on Tuesday! I so need a break!!!!

I had 3 people bail on me for next weekend...those losers have no idea what they are missing....anyway I have an extra room at Gregory's resort if anyone would like to take over my reservation for Friday and Saturday night.
