Our only casualty of the storm that dumped 16" of snow. A new neighbor up the hill missed the turn and took out our Mailbox. This sucks this time of year. The ground is frozen with atleast a foot of frost. I am glad he called and fessed up on the voice message. Said he will buy a new one, now I have to come up with a T&M price EDIT: for a temporary one and a permanent one.

He almost made it into the brook. There are culverts under the road in front of the gate.

I was going to say perhaps get one where the post is way back from the road and the box is suspended on a spring mounted arm.....but it wouldn't have helped with how far this guy went!!!

I wonder if those are aftermarket wheels and low-profile tires.

I'm with you, I never noticed it, and after seeing your pic, for some reason I was thinking they had meatier more-agressive looking wheel setups than that.

I think those are stock wheels. Not sure about the tires though. After looking at some images online my heart sinks just now realizing how messed up the wheel gap is with stock wheels and tires. Yeesh

With aftermarket wheels and tires it looks better but still a pretty large gap. This may haunt me in my dreams now that I can’t unsee it :D

They gave them more room for drag slicks to be put on.

A couple of shots of tonight’s sky.

What do we say about approaching a dock?...Never come in faster than you are willing to hit the dock...or something like that. I'd say this guy came in a little too hot. lol

It really looks like a bow aft spring line broke, slack on that line on the cleat, and the bow ground into the dock.

Judging by the size of that boat, I'd say he made a choice of "I can afford to fix that, I'm willing to use that dock to slow me down" ? ?

It's a nice clean bit of damage, if that bow were less pointed, I could see a lot more damage to the boat, doesn't look like too much, although there's more than the captain would like!

I guess she likes it more than her S&W 617
which started showing in her groupings, getting kinda scary...

Funny how some people around here like to play with their food. Reminds me of the Billy Bass-Snowman Perch edition. I can't unsee tails flapping and lips singing…Take me to the River.

Some days you feel like you are herding Turkeys. They don’t want to be in the deep snow.

They sure don't want to show you and your tractor much respect.
