We are delighted you have found your way to the best Jet Boaters Forum on the internet! Please consider Signing Up so that you can enjoy all the features and offers on the forum. We have members with boats from all the major manufacturers including Yamaha, Seadoo, Scarab and Chaparral. We don't email you SPAM, and the site is totally non-commercial. So what's to lose? IT IS FREE!
Membership allows you to ask questions (no matter how mundane), meet up with other jet boaters, see full images (not just thumbnails), browse the member map and qualifies you for members only discounts offered by vendors who run specials for our members only! (It also gets rid of this banner!)
I've done that at times, and it's weird, without any rhyme or reason, one time will work perfectly, and the next, it's so blocky and clearly compressed that it's unusable. I had to send some stuff to someone and it was well over the file size for sending via email, so that's how I found that imageresizer website. I think over a certain size or quantity, there might be a watermark, but it's been quite a while that I've been using them, so I can't really recall. No complaints from anyone thus far with the results they spit out, so I've kept using it.I'm also investigating a way for this to be done automatically. A super lazy way to resize is that many email applications will allow you to automaticaly compresss images when you send them. So email them to yourself....select small or medium...and voila....compressed on arrival.

We were able to adjust the configuration of the forum to auto compress images down. We decided not to reduce them too much, but set it at 2048x2048. We may adjust that later, but we'll play that by ear.I've done that at times, and it's weird, without any rhyme or reason, one time will work perfectly, and the next, it's so blocky and clearly compressed that it's unusable.
