It's nice in this apartment. View of the mountains, the city lights, quiet, and a church always with white birds always flying around.

Maple Sap is water with about 2% sugar content. The flow rate is the output of a 2hp Goulds pump in the pump shed 900’ away, pumping into a 4k gallon ss tank.

It depends on the sap run, basically a weather thing. Cold night, freeze up the bush, followed by warm days and the sap runs up the tree. With 5500 taps flowing, It can produce up to 5500 gallons in a 24hr period. About a gallon per tree per day on average. I am still tapping in Febuary, not used to runs this early.

Looks like retirement is agreeing with you! I see a lot of happy faces.

My wife and I area getting ready for our first cruise since our honeymoon, 30+ years ago. Funny thing is that the ship that we be on is about the same size as that first one, but is now considered to be a small ship.

That's Frolf. For the people that take it too seriously, I love telling them that. "AKSHUALLY, it's Disc Golf". I just say "Frolf is a more accurate name" as I'm walking away. I expect to get a "disc" in the back of the head every time ?
