Really! the most maneuverable boat on the water According to what independent testing laboratory that tested these part time fins on all boats ? That is as ridiculous as the most slow speed steering in the industry statement you often make who did that testing and tested it on all boats in the industry against all steering in the industry. I have CJS ultimates with the moderately modified fin which blocks sideways reverse thrust less than the original fins. These Thurst Vectors are the first fins I've seen redesigned aggressively to not block the sideways thrust. Not sure if it is worth the money and effort to convert over, but I would definitely had purchased these in the first place.

I think the point is well taken as to how "the best" has been determined. It is easy for any company to say their product performs the best of any other product on the market. Most companies, from autos, to boats, to tools to whatever, claim theirs performs whatever specific job they were designed for better than any other company. I too, feel that such claims should be quantified. In all fairness though, how was your claim that Cobra Jet Steering is the "most effective and most versatile aftermarket steering enhancements for jet boats and p w c' s" determined? I have your fins on my boat, and love them, but let's be fair!

My systems offer features that no one else can offer due to my patents, like adjustments for changing the effectiveness, The ability to stagger the fins, the all speed assistance rather than just slow speed ,the plaining surfaces on deluxe versions, the super fins that automatically change the influence with the position of the boat from slow speed to high speed, the top fins that also add extra slow speed influence and the plaining surfaces that add faster hole shots, smoother ride in chop and a cleaner wake for watersport activities ,the patented second tie rod for balance and redundancy in the AK systems the fangs of various types . The spring loaded sets and the viper sets plus the non spring loaded sets And the ability to turn the boat faster on plane and to steer with no thrust or maintain steerage during rapid deceleration. So thank you for asking . I know of no other manufacturer that can legally make the same systems with the same features and benefits. And lets not forget I let Will sell my steering and my ez locks back on the Yamaha jet boat board and the next thing I know he is making his own plastic fins and telling people they need the jet boat feel and he criticized my using small screws to attach the fins to the nozzles back then also I find that amusing now. Plus his very first video on his web page when he started to sell the plastic fins showed a bunch of Yamaha jet boats doing all sorts of maneuvers but he forgot to mention the boats in the video had my steering on them. So as always if I have something to say you know where it came from. It's when I don't say anything that people should be concerned.

I appreciate what your product does. And, I support your right to claim that, in your opinion, yours is the best in the industry. But, in your words, "who did that testing and tested it on all boats in the industry against all steering in the industry." I would love to see the data from an independent testing organization. There have been many threads from many members regarding their opinion of which product may be the best at what it does. Not trying to start a fight here, but if some data exists, from either CJS or JBP, I think all of the members would love to see this data.

No need to get hostile....I still dont see any independent testing done on either! You brought the subject up. And BTW, one of these threads supporting your product was by me (https://jetboaters.net/threads/pulled-the-trigger-on-steering-fins.15998/)....but.....it was my opinion, just like all the others. You were asking for independent testing and verification, and I would love to see that too.

I really question whether BMW is the Ultimate Driving Machine.

But seriously, I don't have TVs but the fact their larger and hang lower makes me think they may be better for slow speed. Now, with the newly shaped fin allowing more reverse side thrust and the kickstand I'm tempted to switch from CJs. Since I already have fins, I will probably sit back and see what others experience first.

Word of caution, take it FWIW. I am new to the jet boat world and just bought my first one a couple of months ago. Your posts ITT have more or less already turned me off to your product before I even started. Let your product speak for itself and don’t bring drama into another vendor’s thread. Especially one you compete with and seems to be highly regarded. It’s a huge turnoff and I can’t imagine I’m the only one that feels this way. Regardless of the backstory or history.
