Bimini 2014-June 22

Yesterday after we arrived the ocean was as flat as this marina.

just a quick update, i must of sucked something up into the port side of the exhaust cooling system. Overheated the exhaust water box and melted part of it (It’s plastic don’t know why any thing exhaust is plastic) It’s at the dealer now. BoatUS arrived about 10mins after i called. couldn’t of asked for anything better from them. Was sitting at the dealer when they opened. Still waiting on them to look at it as they are backup. Will update as i find out more still hopeful as of now. To add insult to injury my cell is not take a charge.

His boat has a serious cooling water overheating that melted some plastic fittings. He has a SeaDoo with closed cycle cooling, something in that system overheated. It happened as we were heading from the hotel to the fuel dock right before departure. Good thing it happened then and not in the middle of the ocean. From what I understand he just gotten his boat back from the shop a few days prior and they were supposed to have fixed this overheating issue.

we had just gotten her back from routine service. everything was looking great as i had her out on the water a couple of hours before the trip

@DieselCamel, you could take the ferry and join us. We are having a great time at Bimini Sands. Our kids just want to go to the infinity pool over and over again.

@andy07sx230ho Looks like you could cast a line to the water from your room!!!
@DieselCamel hope they can get to your boat soon!

Sorry to hear about the bad luck! Hopefully everything will work out for you and you can get over to Bimini!

I believe@Andy07sx230ho is headed out to go fishing or check on fuel and @justason is headed to the Supona where we plan to join him later. Not sure who the third Yamaha was.

Google Map of the Bimini Sands Resort

Bruce....if those pics are from your room....looks like you got yourself an AWESOME spot! Not sure if you'll be able to find any room on the beach though! LOL

@Julian, The pics are from our room. We are on the second floor right beside the harbor inlet. We also see the traffic taking the channel to and from North Bimini.

We enjoyed the beach and pool this morning and are heading out to Supona now.

I’m out. Dealer is dragging his feet. Headed to Key West. Will definitely try this again next year #Bimini2015

That's so sad @DieselCamel
I hope key west is unforgettable.

That has to be excruciating to be there and no gas...keep us posted! And hope the tanker arrives soon!
