Bimini 2014-June 22

The Harbour master here at great Harbour marina where I am stated that fuel may not be to Bimini before next Tuesday. Not sure if that is true. He is going to call there and chub cay before I head that way. Hex stated there may be fuel at cat cay (island). I am sure you guys know better since you are right in the action.

If anybody gets desperate, the natives stockpile gas cans full but will charge you heavily. Just be careful that it's good fuel if you go that route.

I put filters on the boat before I left and have a filter that you can run fuel through that takes out trash and water. I hope you guys get fuel really soon and can enjoy the water and weather.

Most of us were able to refuel this evening at Blue Waters. Anyone who did not, the fuel dock opens at 7.

Due to fuel availability we rescheduled the pig roast for 1PM Wednesday at Honeymoon Harbor. Hope to see everyone there.

@DieselCamel, sorry it did not work out this year.

We went snorkeling the Supona today and I caught a big fish. The kids had fun catching and releasing several of these.

These were the last two Yamahas to fill up this evening.

We got fuel! @Tyler can get back home! Seriously this trip has been a blast. Hopefully you guys on the fence get to go some year. It's a lot of fun!

Back to enjoying and boating in crystal clear blue water! How's that fridge running @Bruce ? Have a cold one for me!

Meant to say glad you got gas, and back to vacation!

@txav8r, the fridge is working well! The drinks come out almost ice cold, in fact if I turn the thermostat a little further it becomes a freezer.

I like not having to worry about ice.

Do you guys have shore power at the slips? Are they charging an arm and a leg or does it come with the condo rental?

Shore power is available. The sockets are 30 and 50 amps.

@tim h and I have been using shore power. Not sure about anyone else. The cost per foot for a slip was listed earlier in the thread. I am not sure how much it was but it was not significant compared to the condos.

We are back in the condo warming the hams up before we head to Honeymoon Cay for the group lunch.

Here are a few pictures from today's meet at Honeymoon Harbor. All ten Yamaha's attended along with @tim h's monster of a boat.

Others took a group photo and @upperdeck shot video from a quad copter.
