Bimini 2014-June 22

Clamped the cooling lines or had shut off valves I assume????
Sorry to hear you had engine trouble. Tell us more about it. Just running fine, then stopped? Bad fuel in bimini? (hope its that easy)

WOW - Scary moments for sure! Glad to hear you made it back OK!
How far out were you when you encountered problems?

Glad to hear you made it back OK despite the problems...

@Tyler, Glad you are ok. We are enjoying rum punch at Big Game Club after snorkeling at Three Sisters and catching dinner.

Glad you are safe. I hope the engine trouble is minor.

@Tyler, was a pleasure meeting you and your ex girlfriend. Hope you guys have safe travels to Texas. Maybe again next year!

Hey guys, still driving at 1 am with about 5 more hours to go! Fun times finding the hidden customs office in Miami with a minute to go before they closed, but we made it at least. The boat is fine, just fouled spark plugs. I brought spares, but the ratchet to change them magically disappeared. We changed two of them with pliers and no go on cranking, so at this point everyone gave up.
We were all pretty sick from the constant rocking so we just decided to wait for the tow. As soon as we made it to Miami, the ratchet reappeared. I changed the last plug and the engine cranked right up. Fun times. At least the otherwise 3,000 dollar tow was free thanks to my boat us membership. After the journey back, I'm the only one in my crew going next year at this point, lol. #ISurvivedBimini2014

Glad you had the towing membership @Tyler ! Awesome pics!

Sweeeeet!

We caught dinner at Three Sisters.

We are having a captain's meeting at 7pm near the pool by the office. Tentative plan is to be ready to go at 6 am, due a radio check, head count and then leave. We will set firm plans at the captain's meeting.

We snorkeled at the Bimini Road this morning then stopped at the beach area on the NE side of North Bimini for lunch and a long swim. The 1 to 2 foot water was perfect for the kids.
