Shelbyville Illinois, July 30th to August 3rd 2014

18.1GB of pictures and video to go through. It is going to be awhile before I can post pictures.
Neil, Jeff and Jim -thanks again for your hard work to bring our community together.
And thanks to St Charles Boats for feeding us and Jetboat Pilot, Neilsens, Hammertime, Wakemakers for adding to the fun. Those sponsors invested some serious prizes for us to enjoy.
Mark and Jerry- Thank you so much for the prototype. It will be well beat upon...I mean tested, by my kids and their friends.

My goodness, it seems an age ago already! We are still living it up in Cumberland. We had a blast in Shelbyville, and compare everything with everything we do. Cumberland is really impressive, but i'll save that for another time. When we get home, we will have a LOT of pictures to go through. We brought the laptop to download all the pictures and videos... I am glad I brought the extra USB drive, lol.
One thing that stands out is that Litha cabins is actually very nice for the price. Having an oven/stove/fridge is really really nice to have. The people out there in Shelbyville is obviously awesome.
Really dreading going back to home. I go home to a rehersal dinner and wedding for my littlest brother. I gotta make a speech yet, BAH!

After watching that vid, if crashing was a trick I would be a pro!!! Thanks for posting up trace! I believe I surferd more that day then I have in 2 years!! Big thanks to @trace for the ride time!! Sorry I missed most people!! Damn work!

@trace you picked the absolute worst run I did in Shelbyville on your wife's board that I simply cannot ride. Where are the clips on my own board? I know I am not very good, but give a brother some better clips. I had to protect myself and post something a little better. lol!

I have to think that second video was photo shopped !

Lol. Neil did do better on his board. I think the camera was dead though.

I'm just making vids from clips in chronological order as I work through them, not trying to portray a buddy in a bad light at all, just haven't got to the clips on your own board behind the Z1, Christy's board is really loose, and Brendan's orange board oversteers like it has power steering.

Actually, this was my first real complete GoPro project and I thought it was fitting to post. I started another project a few weeks ago, but did not feel as if the GoPro software was robust enough. I still don't feel that it is, but I have not yet downloaded anything else. Thanks, for letting me try out the Z1 wake. Beautiful boat and crisp wake.

Wished you would have had more time behind it, it feels substantially different from what we've been riding behind the Yamaha's and takes a while to get a good feel for it again. The more I use the GoPro Studio the better I like it, I'm sure it's not as good as some of the purchased editing software, and it only likes a limited number of file types, but in terms of a work flow to view, cut, convert, assemble and annotate, it's starting to make more and more sense to me now that I've made a few. That video came from about 15-20 different video clips that I paired down to 3 minutes with annotation, exported, uploaded to youtube and posted here in about an hour for my second video.

Yep, I think I definitely gotta get in on this gathering. Maybe even next year. It's only a 5 hour cruise from my house, which is only an hour and half longer than my haul most weekends with the boat in tow.
