Another great day with friends! My family had a wonderful day today.

I even got to drive @Julian 242x e series which is a nice ride to put it mildly. The drive by wire throttle is amazing and so smooth. Thanks Julian, now I have to spend time looking at upgrading more seriously, .

Also tried out the FSH. nice boat for sure, love the wheel and the throttle up nice and high, thanks, @veedubtek.

My girls had never been on jet skis, thanks Nick for the ride the girls loved it!

Closed out they day with a nice run down to the damn.

Thanks to @AndyD , @Eric Ballard , and @bronze_10 for hosting this gathering, Cindy and I had a really good time meeting everyone and the ride to the dam and back.

For those that have white clothing stained from the lake water, Cindy was able to get my white stained shirt white again. She tried numerous methods; mixture of hydrogen peroxide baked soda and dawn, tough stuff carpet cleaner, diluted bleach and finally Clorox stain remover for colors which was the winner.

Thanks again all it was great meeting everyone and seeing old faces @bronze_10 @veedubtek @Eric Ballard @Julian @Andy S @AndyD I know I'm missing someone in that group. Also I know he didn't join us but I also was fortunate enough @96Pirate as I was buttoning up the boat at the ramp nice to put a face to the name as well. As usual every gathering I have been to is an incredible group of people I have yet to ever meet a person from this forum face to face I didn't enjoy being around.

Sorry I missed everyone Sat. Had a great time with our friends but wished I could have made it over there. Just not enough time in the day. I did wave to the group on your way to the dam. I know I got a wave from someone in a fsh @veedubtek maybe? I also had the pleasure of meeting @robert843 in the parking lot. Great to meet you Robert. I saw others in the parking lot but I was late getting my kids to a party so I couldn't stay any longer.

I promise I will do a better job making next years gathering if you all will still invite me.

Figured I would pull this thread out of hibernation and see if there was any interest in another late July Early August gathering maybe at a different location this time. I keep looking at the Alabama gathering thinking it's only 8 hours away but there are so many local spots I have yet to hit I would rather hit a local SC/NC/GA spot

I would say I'm fairly open probably would have to check but like the last weekend in July or Maybe the first Weekend in August. I'm open on location as well I have never been to Lake Norman I'm also good with even doing something in my local Myrtle Beach area as a weekend thing or what ever other cool lake you guys might have in mind.

I’d like to see lake norman and gaston. We have plans for kerr day soon.
We live on mayo. Its small but very clean.

I’d like to do more of intercoastals but ramps/busyness of it is unattractive

Is this typically a day trip or sleepover?
