Shelbyville Illinois, July 29th to July 31st 2016

I'll keep posting these. I got all week!!
Keep them coming....some of us are living vicariously through ya'll while we are at work!

Counting down! Looking for an extra large shoe horn to fit all this stuff in my truck!!!

Like @buckbuck, we have a battle worn, trusty surfboard (oozing with character) that we'd be willing to donate to a good home. Only requirement is that you share with others and spread the disease (I mean love) of surfing.

I don't want to hijack this thread and make it into a classified ad, but if anyone is interested: I have a used inflatable kayak w/pump and paddle plus very nice, never used (still has the tags on it) Liquid Force kids wakeboard and bindings. Both offered at a good price. I also have a very nice current model hybrid skim surfboard for sale. PM if interested for more details and I can bring to the gathering.

Morgan and I will be there about 8 pm tomorrow!!

@ar240owner's Wife , when I read that the first time I thought you said "enough for the kids"! :eek::D

Question. Does anyone have a set of beginner skis they could bring? My daughter has expressed interest in learning how to ski. I thought this weekend might be a good opportunity.

@OperationROL !!!!

It looks like the southern end of the lake will get you closer to all the action. I've been launching at Lithia so far this week until I have a slip reserved starting Thursday.

Kevin, Welcome! I have added you to the list and will send you a bunch of stuff via PM. Glad to have you!

@kevin & denise , River Rat is spot on. Most of us (if not all) launch at the Lithia Launch at the south end of the lake. It is Army Corps of Eng. launch. Some of us are renting a slip from Lithia Springs Marina. You may still be able to get a spot if you tell them you are with us. They often open more houseboat spots and have us double up. The agenda should show where the raft is when you get there, but you are welcome to call me when you get into town. My number is in the PM I sent you.

As for dinner............there is plenty and you don't want to miss it!

Make sure you bring pillows for the children for the ride home. Guaranteed they will be totally wore out from all the fun they are going to have. You and the wife will be too busy talking about the weekend on the ride home and will make your ride home seem shorter.

Welcome @kevin & denise . Your family is going to have a fun weekend. How did you learn about the Shelbyville event?

I may borrow them for a few hours and see how the little one does?
